IM AM A CEO OF A COMPANY I HAVE NEVER SEEN SUCH A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH A RESTAURANT OWNER THIS GUY HAS THE NERVE TO TALK BACK TO HIS CUSTOMERS. NEVER WILL I EVER STEP FOOT HERE AGAIN. HE NEEDS TO SEEL HIS RESTAURANT TO SOMEONE THAT CAN ACTUALLY RUN IT.
Delicious food with a lot of options. The restaurant was clean and appealing. The service was quick and the staff was courteous and approachable.Update: made a second trip on the same day and the service was not as great. They were shutting down before it was even close to closing. It made the "environment" uncomfortable. The food was still delicious
The worst service ever they took 30 minutes for a couple of salads and they weren't apologetic either there were only two people in The Establishment and then to top it off we leave and we make it a couple miles down the road only to realize that they didn't give us any forks and since we're on a road trip we had to turn around for utensils and do you think they apologize then nope you get better service on the corner getting fruit from a fruit stand then you do from these people and the food is nothing to write home about.
Food is decent but definitely overpriced. Customer service is also to be desired as well as accurate pricing over the phone with estimated ready times. Called in a single item order, arrived 20 minutes later and said it would still take an additional 15-20 minutes
High prices for under cooked pizza and poor customer service. Tried this place since it was closer than Phillippe's. Never again! For those that had a good experience, good for you but don't dare try to voice your complaint. Owner is rude and will cuss you out! No matter what you say Sergio, you know you're a Jerk! Don't bore me with a response like call me and let's talk about it. I gave you the chance and you obviously think it's impossible that your establishment is way less than perfect. How about cook your food the way it should be for the ridiculous prices you charge!
Pizza undercooked and the owner Sergio is a jerk about it when you voice your concerns of undercooked food! Gave a review because it was that bad! owner Sergio responded saying it was a fake review from another small business owner. Obviously has lots of complaints and has to respond with lies or has so many complaints he can't keep track. You need to work on your less than mediocre product for the prices you charge, learn how to run a business and train your staff on customer service and how to make cooked food. They are obviously taking from the poor leadership of you! Own up to your undercooked food, gain some composier and act like a concerned business owner instead of letting your hurt feelings and bad attitude take over before you get shut down. We are talking about gross under cooked food not your feelings!
You are serving RAW dough to customers. And the kitchen personnel just stand their and talk sh$t. Absolutely disgusting.
First Time. Great Food Highly Recommend it. Very Friendly Service. loved the History on The Walls.
I love papa's pizza grotto, been coming here when I'm in town since they opened.The pizza is the same quality I've come to expect from filippis in san diego.Recently had an order and there was a mistake made somewhere along the wayThe owner made it right! Wanted to say thank you for your efforts to create delicious Italian food for our neighborhood. Will be back ;)
