Stopped by Mariposa Ice Cream because we were in the area and my kids were wanting ice cream. It's on the outer ring of the Promenade mall, which is nice and probably less congested. I believe we were helped by the shop's owner, who was very nice and chatted with us until more customers came in. My kids both got cones, my husband got a shake, and I got a root beer float. All were a sweet treat for the 80° weather :)

So many different ice cream flavors! The ice cream is made in shop and with fresh fruit. The flavors are so good and really pop. The scoops are great sized too!
Mariposa is an adorable little ice cream shop located on Overland Drive on Tememula. They offer a wide variety of ice cream flavors along with non-dairy options. I was told that their best seller is Cookies & Cream which my son tried and loved. I ordered Rocky Road. The chocolate ice cream is rich but not heavy, and it's packed full of nuts (and marshmellows) that gives a wonderful textured experience. This place certainly deserves a try!
For homemade ice cream lovers, and sports fans you will appreciate everything about Mariposa. Not to mention, you feel like part of the family.

Great little ice cream shop. The folks there are super nice and helpful. They were helpful with my kids deciding what they wanted. The ice cream tastes delicious as well. The waffle cones were being made fresh at the time so they were still a little warm. They smelled and tasted amazing! I got the root beer freeze, which was like a root beer float blended into a milkshake consistency. We'll be back for sure!
