Fun outing for the family. Tasting room is open for everyone (Mondays to Thursdays). We were going back and forth between the tasting room and our table. Live music starts at 1:00. It would be a good idea to call ahead and confirm.
Went there this past Sunday with my dear friends. We had a members tasting wow LOU you are the man with knowledge and humour turned an otherwise normal tasting into a trip around the world with informative comments on where and how the wine got its name and taste .then moving in to the outside restaurant woody and the harlesons played wow perfect what could of only made it perfect of course PENNY our server/waitress 10/10 fun fast and smiling lorimar wineries I cant wait to come back and im from the UK.
Friday night live music was great. Dinner portions were big and filling. Blonde beer was very good. Staff was friendly and helpful
the staff is excellent, very accommodating and knowledgeable. the wine selection is good.the winery has a large seating area and the winery has several events which are always fun. the food is prepared by food trucks and they do a great job. definitely one of our favorites
Saturday afternoon, sipping well crafted wine flights on a hot patio while cool misters gently spritz your shoulders, ambient music drafts thru the air, and you gush about life with family and friends. I think a core memory was just created!Lorimar is a wonderful winery for locals and visitors alike. Well priced, we grabbed a mixed wine flight (meaning white and reds) 5 selections for $25 each. It is also shareable!We also ordered the fig and procuitto flat bread which was decadent and light all at the same time. And then, we got crazy, and ordered the grilled cheese. Why? Because wine and cheese! #duhIt was served on a perfectly toasted sourdough and was oozing with 3 different cheeses but really, you had me at #fontinaService was fantastic. They were courteous and present, always taking the time to chat or inform us on the flight or food or winery.There are so many great photo ops around the property, and it feels so casual you can take your time exploring!It was busy but never felt packed.Pro Tip: grab a table reservation on Open Table so you can sit back and enjoy your time!
First time at a winery. Dan in the tasting room did an excellent job giving recommendations for tasting and the background of each drink. The restaurant was superb. If you’re going to order anything you need to order the organic pasta dish. Would definitely recommend this place!
I’ve been here twice now and both times were SUPERB. Came during the week in the evening and got to hear some lovely live music and the wine was great. Came back this weekend with a large group and we got flatbreads and cheeseboards and everything was delicious. Highly recommend!!!
I’m a wine club member, so I LOVE the wine. I’ve been here many times to taste. Never to eat from their restaurant. We made a reservation and were seated right away. We waited 10-15 minutes before we were even acknowledged. We ordered a pasta dish and a flat bread. Food was great. We also ordered a bottle of wine with the food that never came to our table before we finished. Before the food arrived, I went in to get two glasses of wine with my membership. We drank those glasses while we ate. We were not approached once by our server to see how our food was and AFTER we finished our food, he came to check on us. We said food was fine but we never got our bottle of wine. He said “oh shit” and immediately game back to our table with the bottle. A little late bud. For context, it was a Saturday afternoon but they were not busy like I’ve seen on some occasions. Anyway. I guess come with low expectations and hope for the best.
This place was great!!! The food truck in the back had amazing food and the wine tasting was great too with a nice view. It is very crowded so make sure to plan ahead and either have a reservation or some time to wait.
Good dinner, great wine, wonderful music and all amongst the grape vines at Lorimar! Our favorite evening out and it never disappoints.
