The place itself was nice and well decorated. My family and I have have been to this specific location twice and we enjoyed it. The food was great and had no complaints about the taste or portion. The drinks were merely okay, I did not care for the Michelada or the Margarita on the rocks. I did try a Modelo on tap and we all know we can’t go wrong with that. They do charge a 20% gratuity fee and taxes on top of your bill. So, if our bill was about $72, with all the extra fees it actually came out to about $95 and this is not including tip. The service itself from waiter/waitress was not too great. I do not feel they were that attentive and forgot things when we ordered. However, there were more pros than cons, so that is why I rate this restaurant 5/5.
AMAZING!!! honestly since we sat down, the salsa and chips they serve actually have flavor and spice. The salsa had amazing taste and the chips freshly nice and hot. My husband had the shrimp ceviche and a burrito. I had the 2 taco plate. One taco was carnival and the other adobada!!! ? ? BOMB!!! It was honestly FIRE (not like spicy) and tasteful. Will be going back and ordering family meals when family comes. Also the beans and rice had great taste! We loved it
Great Atmosphere, The Authenticity of the Restaurant itself is beautifully Decorated Pueblo Style!! The Service was Excellent! Our Server Mario was very Attentive to our needs.Carnitas plate was Delicious, has A Great Flavor, The Rice was also good, but the beans were a little to dry for me I rate the beans a 7But Combined everything together Carnitas, salsa, Rice, and beans all in your mouth, and its the perfect combination!The Ceviche De Pescado, was Amazingly Incredible from the texture, to the Flavors that will have your mouth watery. This Dish I will Definitely rated a 10 It is Authentic, and its Great Flavor Will Blow you Away!!The Chips, and Salsa were Really Good too!!I Highly Recommend it, and will be returning soon!!

Got seated around 7:30pm on a Tuesday night. Waited about 20 mins and no one gave us water or chips. I went to tell someone at the front and 10 minutes later, we got chips but no water. They charge a mandatory 20% service fee. I always tip for good service, but this place is NOT it.
I can understand the tip fee distributed to servers but to OTHER BUSINESS COST??? I expect this in a fine restaurant. Food was mediocre, the service OK but not for a 20% tip. We order the chile verde and it was salty, and the taquitos were only warm not freshly made and crunchy. Will never go back..
For a larger sit down restaurant, La Cocina is about as good as it gets. The bar is extremely busy on weekends. Parking lot is a mess aa well on the weekends. Good service, great food.
Great service, Reuben was fantastic.Great food enjoyed my al pastor burrito.Even with the large party I went with we got our food pretty quickly. Our waiter was great.Definitely going back in the future.The photo is of the El Jefe Burrito aka their 2 lb burrito!!!
