My wife has been Vegan for many years, and I went Vegan Jan 1 of 2020. We hadn't been to Temecula in while, but decided today was the day we would try Gentle Grill at 43053 Margarita Road. We ordered their Gyro (the seitan had a great chew - not spongy at all) and their Crispy Chicken Sandwich, along with a side of fries. Everything was delicious! We will definitely be going back!!
This review is for the BLT which has gone insanely downhill the past 2 times I ordered it. It’s legit plain sliced white bread with a piece of lettuce tomato and a few slices of fake bacon. It used to be toasted / buttered bread cut in half with melted cheese (I always add provolone) but past few times I couldn’t believe how underwhelming it was after I bragged to several friends about this place :/Staff is amazing and other things they have are good but stay away from the BLT till they learn to make it like they used to.
Good sized portions with reasonable prices and the staff is always super friendly and quick to the draw on new orders.you can’t even tell their food is vegan either it’s that good! My colleague is plant based and he took me here a few times as it’s close by our office.
Love Love Love this place. Everything on the menu is delicious! Only complaint I have is I wish they were closer. Really good vegan is hard to find so I make the 30 min drive from Canyon Lake. Staff is very friendly and the place is clean and inviting.
I love this place! I’ve gotten a lot of different things from here and I’m never disappointed. It’s pretty affordable for vegan take out! Try the gyro bowl and cauliflower bites.
Everything we tried was amazing! We have the gyro fries, Reuben, Cabo bowl. Taste was NOT lacking. Every bite was full of flavor. Definitely coming back to try the pulled pork and brisket! Great Vegan dining. Rare find
I loved it.i had a brisket sandwich and cauliflower bites. The only thing is it feel the bites are a bit salty. The brisket actually tasted like beef.We will go back. Ill just ask for less salt.
This place was phenomenal! I got the gyro wrap and it was delicious. Lots of flavor, perfect texture. This is my new favorite place
Not my favorite. Although it is vegan, It is not necessarily healthy. They don't offer gluten free breads or buns and the drinks have preservatives like sodium benzoate.I had a brisket sandwich and the BBQ sauce was so full of sugar I could barely eat it and shouldn't have. I'm watching my sugar intake.Tried their desserts and the sugar was over the top. Normal desserts are not that sweet! I couldn't eat them and threw them away!I'm disappointed because we really need a healthy vegan restaurant.
I was so happy to find a 100% plant based restaurant in this neck of the woods. It was Tuesday so I ordered 2 taco Tuesday specials, the ‘beef’ and the ‘asada’ for $1.95 each. Also ordered the lentil soup, the total was $10.30 with tip.The place is nice and clean, service is friendly. The food was unfortunately so so. The lentil soup was a minestrone with lentils added, not what I expected, not a fan of minestrone. There were 2 tacos of each so quantity wise, it’s pretty good. The beef taco had a nice chipotle dressing and are served on flour tortillas. Both tacos were put together more like a burger than a taco, the plant based protein, shredded iceberg lettuce, tomatoes cut a little too big. They failed to deliver that Mexican food taste you’d expect from a taco. Bottom line, great concept, great prices and quantity, the food needs some work.
