Fantastic place. Just a bit pricey but worth it. Even the kids’ grilled cheese was exceptional. Great people work there, too.Thought it would be a passing visit for us since we live so far away so I didn’t join their rewards program. Changed my mind after a few bites. We’ll plan to stop here on future trips down to San Diego.
This restaurant/ shop is beautiful. Friendly service. We came a bit later in the day so I believe the kitchen was closed but the cafe was still open. Lots of neat stuff to purchase here.My friend ordered a matcha iced tea which she and her partner found to be too watery- she only drank half before tossing it. But the maple pecan donut she ordered was delicious. They also purchased a bottle of apertif here :)
A bit pricey and the wait for food is out of hand. Food arrive cold, management can do much better moving the food line.
Every time I want to write a review for my order I end up devouring my food and haven’t been able to take a decent picture! E.A.T Marketplace is the best eatery in town. The food is actually for real sourced organic (and not just a label) and the owner Leah goes even beyond that to make sure everything is in line to the ethical and natural food standards. I have always been fairly healthy but have faced some health issues in the past year. I have reversed all of my gut issues by choosing options like EAT Marketplace. The food is amazing, flavorful, and good for you. I love everything on the menu but typically I get the Mucho‘s Gracias with a few add-ons and certain other menu items that are in season. The chocolate cake which is gluten-free is the best chocolate cake I’ve ever had! They also cater to gluten-free, vegan and a number of other things that people may be facing with their health, but no of their food tastes bland, you still get the full flavor of what food was always meant to taste like. The kids menu is phenomenal, she also caters and does private events. I’ve only had food like this abroad where you can distinctly taste each flavor in your food. Highly recommend this place to everyone! One of these days I’ll get a good photo before I eat all my food.
Wow! Not sure what happened today but service and food sucked. No apologies from EAT just a puzzled look. Previous visit was great but not this time. Food over cooked and cold; they promised to bring more coffee but that never happened. Oh, I don’t mind paying more for the food (menu prices a little high) if the food and service matches the price. It might be a while before I decide to visit again.

Really enjoyed this spot! Stopped here twice on a recent stay in the area. On my first visit, I got a peach scone to go - it was perfectly done, not too moist in spite of the big pieces of fruit, definitely not dry either. The following day, we stopped in for breakfast. The ordering is a little confusing - you order at a counter, but not at the spot nearest the door. There are signs and the staff will direct you, but I honestly felt a bit bad for them as they seemed to need to direct everyone who came in. So, that needs work. Once you get your order, though, everything is spot-on. Find a seat and your food is delivered to you. The offerings for breakfast are bursting with fresh produce and lots of flavors. I had the scrambled eggs with pesto, which were served on a thick slice of fresh toast, with melted fontina and topped with a balsamic drizzle and fresh greens. It was delicious. The coffee is so good and it’s not only a giant cup - it’s a bottomless cup, so you can get your refill to go, if you like. The staff were friendly and helpful.
This place was amazing can't remember having a better hearty breakfast, it really hard to get good food and coffee at the same time. The wait was pretty long, but for a good reason and it was a Sunday. Amazing staff, food and coffee ?
