This property was such a fun find. Check in was a breeze, and we lucked out with a little upgrade. I also appreciate the bottle of wine at check in. The breakfast was a little disappointing but the view helped make up for it. It was the perfect spot for a relaxing weekend.
It didn't meet expectations. It was 100° and the A/C didn't function, fridge didn't cool, the patio fan shut off abruptly and the ice maker wasn't working! The accommodation given was not very generous for being a 4 star resort... management?The staff was empathetic & tried to help. Note: Wine was super tasty- Syrah was my fav & housekeeping was awesome!
We stayed at Carter Estate for two nights for my birthday getaway. We really enjoyed the property. It was private and quiet. The staff was very friendly and willing to assist if we needed anything. They upgraded us to a nice room, which was much appreciated. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The bathrooms are wonderful, with the walk-in shower and large tub. The pool was nice and relaxing. We never had the chance to eat at the pool cafe though. The continental breakfast was delivered on-time and was quite good. The only issue visitors may have is the fact that there is no restaurant onsite, but we just ordered out or went into town. We will definitely stay here again.
If you don’t want fresh towels upon request, stale croissants and lukewarm coffee for breakfast and corked complimentary wine then this isn’t the place to stay. Pretty surroundings.. good location in Valley but service not so great
Love the property and our room! Spent lots of time in our patio watching the sunset, as well as the nice walk through the vineyard. Location is perfectly situated and close to Hot air balloon ride and horseback riding!
Many things fell through the cracks here. Among them, a friend sent a bottle of birthday champagne to my daughter’s room and it was not delivered. When the sender found out she didn’t receive it she reached out to the hotel, they assured her that this WAS delivered and handed right to my daughter. That was a complete lie as it was never received. After checking their records they realized a mistake was indeed made. Overall, attention to detail is really lacking. New managers are in place and admittedly need to address many issues. PS, BRING YOUR OWN POOP BAGS. According to the Assistant GM, they heard two or three weeks ago that there were none in the on property canisters and still haven’t gotten around to making it a priority to get any. …Pretty setting but needs some love and better management.
The grounds are so beautiful . The room was clean and comfortable. I really enjoyed the patio and views . The pool and jacuzzi are lovely as well. I def recommend booking this estate for a relaxing stay.
We loved this property. Location, amenities, room size, staff - all with a view of the vineyard. We did a quick girls trip to Temecula and were so happy with our choice to stay at Carter Estate. Bungalow room with a patio almost in the vineyard, breakfast delivered to the room, huge room, living area and bathroom, peaceful pool - all within a short drive of amazing wine tasting.
We chose the Carter Estate Winery, because of the close proximity of a venue we were attending in Temecula. It did not disappoint. A true paradise! The early morning continental breakfast delivered to your front door, so you can enjoy it on your private patio and watch the sunrise … now that’s first class! Everything, was on point! The staff, the cleanliness, the bungalow, the quaint pool area, the views of the vineyards. ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL! I saw another review stating that the bed was hard and uncomfortable? Let me tell you… we slept like babies! It was just the right firmness for us, and our back problems. LOL! I could not believe it! We woke up every morning feeling totally rested and refreshed! Oh, yeah… we also purchased a room package, which included a case of their elegant wines. YUMMY! We are already planning another trip back, and hopefully we will be able to catch the hot air balloons. Thank you Carter Estate Winery!
We stayed overnight at this winery resort and it was worth our time. There was nothing to complain about. We enjoyed our room and the resort's amenities given our short stay. We will definitely come back.
