Had an absolutely lovely time at Briar Rose! Was greeted by Peggy who was so kind and served by the most wonderful and charming Doreen. Everyone was so kind and genuine and had such knowledge about the wines served. Delicious wines goes without saying! Recommended the Talking Toad

Great wine, nice view and lovely family owned winery, we will return. One small issue, I searched "black owned winery" and this place came up... again great place and service, just NOT black owned as google said.

My family just had the pleasure of attending one of their catered events," Gypsy Tea Party Wine and Brunch." The menu had something for everyone. The wine was deliciously parred to the brunch. The service was impeccable. This winery is a must for your next trip toTemecula.

Such a beautiful winery, one of a kind. The most recent venue (tipsy tea party) they had was absolutely phenomenal. Service, wine and staff are amazing, definitely recommended.

Briar Rose Winery is a beautiful wedding venue in the heart of Temecula wine country. Their event space is perfect for that fairy tale dream wedding or party.

Wine was just ok. Grounds were pretty, pours for the tasting were quite small

What a wonderful gem! This fun Disney inspired cottage winery is the best place to spend time relaxing & with friends. They have wonderful wine. Delicious snacks and are the friendliest people. Highly recommend.

My wife & I have lived in Temecula for 11 years & we never knew about this winery. We decided we wanted to explore a smaller not so well know winery to try something new & let me tell you we were extremely impressed when we found this hidden gem. You have to make an appointment because of its smaller size & limited hours. This is NOT a place for a party van or tour bus location! When we arrived we were greeted by an older lady name Peggy who was extremely sweet & informed us that as an Estate winery all grapes were grown & harvested on property. The difference shows in the taste without a doubt! Our server happened to be by one of the owners Dorian K. who purchased the property from the original owner/imagineer. She was friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable about the Temecula wine country and it’s history & had a “salt of the Earth” personality! The property has that outdoor romantic, private, family owned feel with beautiful trees, a nice view of Calloway & surrounding vineyards with the amazing feel of the “Snow White” cottage in Disneyland it was designed to replicate. Check out the history of Briar Rose for the details on the original owner/ imagineer, family history, etc..To give a bit of background about us, my wife is an experienced wine taster, not an expert however very knowledgeable in types/notes/smells, etc…, she has tasted at all the well known wineries throughout Temecula as well as Paso Robles & Napa with her favorite types being red blends. I on the other hand was never into wine tasting & only went to spend time with my wife but found enjoyment in sweet options like Moscato/Muscat Canelli. Now that you know our background it might help if you have similar tastes in this review going forward. My wife tried the “Reds” tasting absolutely loved the Temecula Two & the Estate Cabernet Souvignon while I really enjoyed a glass of the Muscat Canelli. If you are looking for something off the beaten path, without the noise & crowds, a shaded, cooler area to enjoy your wine tasting experience with an amazing breeze, a friendly, knowledgeable staff & relaxing atmosphere then this is definitely worth your time! We absolutely loved our visit here & will be going back!

One of the best wineries around not only are their wines great but the people who work there are the friendliest in the most knowledgeable about their wines.

Really nice grounds and was a beautiful day when we were there. Very friendly staff!!
