Friendly service. We were a party of 5 and there was a short wait (30 minutes) compared to the 1-2 hour wait at other restaurants we tried.We all ordered different things- we thought our food was just okay. Cheese plate was yummy.
Place is amazing. Food, patio, atmosphere, service all top notch. Very relaxed atmosphere, great patio,with high quality fresh Italian food. The rollatine (rolled fried eggplant stuffed with spaghetti and topped with fresh sauce, cheese and basil), never had anything like it, so fresh and good. You want fresh Italian style pizza? Gelato? My wife had that. Amazing.My point is your meal can be fancy or casual as you like, all top notch. Lucky find for us.

Stopped by here on a sunny Saturday afternoon for a light lunch and it was super relaxing, exactly what I was looking for. My wife and I split a meat plate, got a couple drinks and desserts, and were very pleased with the overall food and service.At first we thought the shared plates were charcuterie plates (more of a meat & cheese combo) but they have 2 separate categories. One has meat plates, and the other has cheese plates. Which was kind of a bummer cuz we wanted both together, but we just went with the Misto (meat plate), which was still super delicious. It was very filling just between the 2 of us.When in Rome, I like to have me an Italian cocktail, so I tried the "Sgroppino al Limone" because as soon as I saw "lemon sorbet" as an ingredient, I knew I was in for a treat. It is SO delicious and perfect on a sunny warm SoCal day.Afterward, we finished the meal with some delicious gelato and tiramisu. I got the Salted Butter Gelato since it's one of their most popular and it holds up. I love salted caramel treats and this is one of the best. The tiramisu is also really good and surprisingly had more caramel flavor in it than I was expecting. Not that it's bad. I like it. Just never had it with so much caramel flavor. Definitely a unique take on it and I recommend it.This might be our new go-to spot whenever we're heading by Old Town Temecula. Looking forward to returning and trying more of the menu.
Great service. The food was amazing, flavorful, and served hot. Everything was delicious. Loved the atmosphere. A must try if you're in old Town Temecula.
This was the 2nd time going to Bottega Italia. The food is very good and the service is too. I love the decor inside! This time we got the Parmigiano pizza with eggplant, the Butcher pizza with all the meats, the Spaghetti with seafood and the special of the day which was gnocchi with a basil cream sauce. We also got (not pictured) La Rosa Verde which is the Bibb lettuce salad with sliced pears, Gorgonzola and pancetta. I love that salad. For dessert (not pictured) we got a pistachio cannoli, chocolate cannoli and a slice of tiramisu plus 2 espressos. It was all very tasty. Definitely recommend.
Disappointed in service tonight.Our little group was having a great time and on the way out the bartender made it his mission offend us! He told us, "I'm not going serve him." You'd think after supporting this business through covid that we'd get treated with a little more respect. #movingalong
