I always enjoy myself when I've come here. This was my 3rd visit and i brought my husband for a father's day dinner. My waiter was amazing and took the time to explain some fish questions i had. My husband got lemon pepper mahi mahi, I got Cajun swordfish, and my son got the bbq ribs. All the food was delicious and the clam chowder was fantastic. Everything tastes super fresh and refreshing.
Showing homes to clients in Temecula today and they wanted some good fish to eat for a lunch. We all loved "Fish House Vera Cruz" in North County San Diego and we heard this was even better! We had clam chowder soup and iceberg wedge salad to start. They bring you fresh sourdough bread & butter and the soups where tasty. We had the Fish & Chips and the battered fish tacos. Everything was fresh and tasty. The Fish & Chips had a nice beer batter crust on the outside and the fish was moist on the inside. Seating was prefect inside and nice and cool. It was a hot day so this was the place to be!
Had the Salmon on a plank and only the top half of the fish was cooked. Center and bottom were raw and watery. Staff responded with concern and took the meal off the check, but I was really disappointed. Have eaten at other Bluewaters and the food is always super! Pricey, but very good. My son and my wife both had the lobster tail and the same issue! Partially cooked. When you pay over $200 for a dinner for 4, you expect so much more. Details count!!!
Great staff, clean and friendly, amazing food. The oysters were delicious. Calamari was perfect, the Prawns were awesome. Loved their clam chowder, and Christine's recommendation to mix the Boston and Manhattan made it way better. Will definitely come again.
It was our 1st time. Went for dinner I had cioppino and my husband had fish and chips. Cioppino is my favorite I order it everyday. One of the best I’ve had. Large portion good price
We chose Bluewater because of local reviews and the Pacific Ocean 50 miles away. The Ahi Tuna ($29) was perfectly seared. Crab cakes appetizer ($17) was authentic and meaty. Unfortunately the featured Blackened Swordfish was suddenly unavailable at 5:30, “it just ran out 3 minutes ago.” The substituted Striped Bass Special $28 was a tasty substitute – even if not our choice. The “oceanfront" décor had a staged look but actually fit the casual mood. On a practical note, numerous local vineyards with visitor tasting rooms are within a few miles; so beverages here more optional.
Hands down best restaurant in Temecula! The service and food are phenomenal! Max is like no other manager we’ve ever worked with before. He is fun to be around, professional and genuinely good hearted! We had a private party and he and his servers went ABOVE AND BEYOND to make sure everything was wonderful!Everyone in our group, visitors and locals were so impressed!Thank for making our special occasion extra special!

We went with friends from San Diego. We were in Palm Desert. My wife had the Idaho Trout Amandine with potatoes and vegetables. The Trout was breaded and she didn't care for it. I had the Striped Bass with veggies and I enjoyed mine. Our friends had a variety of other dishes. We at on the patio. Service was good by Gwen.
OMG this place is amazing! The drinks were spot on! My husband and I had the surf & turf. It was delicious. Our first time here! Definitely coming back and bringing friends!
