Let me preface this review by saying I am a carnivore through-and-through. The tacos here are really mind blowing and really thought out. You can really taste the ingenuity and passion it took to come up with these flavors and textures. I have these tacos at the farmers market at the promenade mall, And I've also frequented the restaurant in the vail ranch area. I can honestly say that every time I eat here I am not missing meat. It's a truly vegan restaurant where they do not even use lard in the tortillas. Their sauces are super good a good amount of heat compliments the tacos perfectly. At the actual restaurant I had the Jackfruit Carnitas Bowl and that is a dish that will be ingrained in me forever. Pictured I have the jackfruit taco and the hibiscus flower taco. Whatever sorcery he concoted to give the hibiscus this great texture and perfect seasoning I think everyone needs to try if you like tacos. Not to mention the owner Tommy is one of the nicest nicest people with a great positive energy. Come visit asap!
Had their loaded asada nachos and they were yummy! The flavor was subtle, the salsas were amazing, the chips - DELICIOUS! Best vegan comfort food around<3! A little taste of home without changing your diet preference. Oh and they’re fries were well seasoned and perfectly cooked.
Very happy they are open Mondays! 11-7. Had the rolled tacos this time…so good! Washed them down with a Mango Masala kombucha, great matchup. Great vegan Family business in the vail dining hall.
First time having a full vegan meal. I very much enjoyed how flavorful every bite was. I enjoyed the soy Al pastor bowl !Can't wait to try everything else on the menu
Amo Nakatl saved the vegans in Temecula. It’s harder to find options in this area so having them in town is such a blessing. The staff is always extremely kind, in person and on the phone. The food always tastes SO fresh. I order food multiple times a week and it never disappoints. The portions are large and plentiful. BUT even if you aren’t vegan I would definitely give them a try, it’s just good Mexican food all around!
The jackfruit burrito was absolutely incredible. The staff was really kind and engaging. I live in Philadelphia and I'll be dreaming of this burrito until I can get my hands on it next! Vegan or not, you'll be impressed by the flavors of the burrito and the homemade salsa.
