Delicious! We had our wedding cake made by 1914 and decided to order additional pastries because of how tasty they were. I wish I could have ordered more! Linda was so easy to work with and very helpful. She made us feel so welcomed during our tasting. After ordering, we didn't have to worry about anything.
We used 1914 for our wedding recently, and they were amazing!! The whole experience from tasting to the day-of was wonderful. The staff are great, so nice and helpful, and the desserts were AMAZING! We ordered a cake and a pastry bar and it was a huge hit at our wedding! All of our guests raved about the desserts, and they were gone immediately! We highly recommend 1914! Def get the cannoli and lemon chiffon tarts!?
We were so happy to find an authentic Italian bakery for our wedding in Temecula! My husband is from Italy and Linda and Mark had a special pastry made for our tasting appointment for him! All of the cakes and pastries that they make are fantastic! We had a hard time choosing our favorites. Everyone at our wedding raved about the desserts!
If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I would. I am planning a wedding in Temecula and had a disappointing experience at another area bakery, so when I found 1914 online, Linda immediately squeezed my fiance and I in for an appointment since we had a tight timeline. She was very responsive leading up to the appointment. When we got there, she was kind, friendly, and welcoming, and she had a beautiful presentation that included photos, binders of options, and easy to read sheets/pictures of all the pastries. Save your appetite if you schedule a tasting! All of the desserts were delicious and Linda really works with you to understand what you want and give it to you within your budget. We ended up getting a small 2-tier cake and a dessert bar. I can't say enough good things about our experience. It's a family-owned bakery and they really delivered a personalized experience. Highly recommend them for your next special event!
WOW! 1914 Bakery created our three-tiered wedding cake along with desserts for our wedding at Lake Oak Meadows on March 24th. We had bride and groom chocolate covered strawberries, lemon chiffon tart, and eclairs as extra desserts.Everything turned out so beautifully. Our guests were raving at how pretty and delicious our cake and desserts were. When we had our cake tasting a few months prior, everyone was so nice and attentive in helping us find the perfect flavors for our cake, frosting, and more. Highly recommend 1914 Bakery!
I am SO thankful to this bakery.Due to an unfortunate mixup, we were without a cake and too close to budget. We were afraid we were going to have to try and find other options. I connected with the bakery and we had a great back and forth and they were able to give us options that fit our budget!The cake itself was TERRIFIC! We got so many compliments on it and I saw people go for seconds... And thirds! I was able to sneak some home with me and enjoyed it the day after as well.I would really really recommend this bakery!

We were at a Venue where they served the most authentic Italian pastries we have ever had that were supplied by Gruttadauria 1914 Bakery.What can I tell you... absolutely incredible!!And their gelato...OMG if you haven't tried the incredible deserts & Gelato that this bakery makes you are definitely missing out!!Authentic Italian pastries and desserts and did I mention the best tasting PINA COLADA gelato we have ever had??Trust me you will not be disappointed!! We asked for seconds!! That's how amazing they were!! We can't wait to order some pastries from there for our future events!!
2 stars I wish They were still in Rochester NY were they use to be for over 90 years of wonderful Italian cookies pies cakes and pastries. Please come back! We can't even get the cookies shipped anymore. The Jay Street then the Ridge Road stores would bend over Backward to meet the request of customer's . I miss them
