Zankou is always great, but the prices are higher. I've never had a bad meal there in 17 years but nowadays when I go there I just feel like 90% of the money paid goes right into their pockets. Which is why I only go there a few times a year now. I should add, there are other similar restaurants around, a couple of which I also go to, which are kind of the same way - good food but just overpriced. Positives: the best hummus imaginable, and the garlic paste sauce is just out of this world. I just wish they had some coupons around. If they did, I'd go there more often.
Service was absolutely horrible. We placed an order for pick up at 5pm to be ready by 7pm. When I arrived at 7pm none of our food had been prepared and no one had an explanation. My team and myself waited for two hours for our order to finally be completed (keep in mind we had 100+ people to feed). Everyone waiting for their orders seemed to be experiencing the same extremely long wait times. It was ridiculous! When we finally were able to speak with a manager (Jose) he showed no remorse and offered no solutions but instead blamed us for their mistake. We will never order from here again.

Phenomenal food, with great service too. I told Jesus it was my first time dining at Zankou and he walked me through the menu and even graciously offered me a sample of the tarna and tri-tip. I would definitely do again 10/10
Probably understaffed on Mother's day because I've been hung up on twice. We ordered the family meal but the eggplant salad had bubbles in it. I can't believe they're sending out old food on a holiday.
You can't go wrong with the food here. the Garlic dips is the best part.
This is the worst costumer service I’ve ever experienced in my life! The cashier, Marivel, who supposed to be the face of the business, is the most rude unhappy person I’ve ever had to talk to, she literally looks like she is forced to be there.
Still the best chicken in LA. Fantastic pita and hummus. The combo plate is my go to. Where were the pickled turnips though? Missed those.
You are always going to get the same great taste when you visit any zankou, service was great, prices were reasonable and most of all food was delicious.
Very delicious food here, but they don't ask for proof of vaccination so beware
