Update: I was in love with their Carving Salad. But it has changed a lot the last two times I’ve ordered. No sundried tomatoes, the portabello is now a little bit of button mushrooms, the dressing is different and the whole thing is smaller. I miss it! As a gluten-free vegan, it’s rare that I can order something without having to ask for alterations, but this was Crave-worthy. Took a star off what was a four-star review. Also my husband feels the sandwiches are heavy and his fried Oreo was a literal big ball of fried dough with a cold Oreo buried waaaaaay inside… But I loved that salad and hope they bring it back to its original awesomeness!
I decided to try something new with my girlfriends. The food was fabulous!! We are definitely coming back!!

The sandwich was actually very good.The person, Who took the order asked us if we want side orders. We said yes BUT he did Not mention it's extra $. 2 sandwiches w 2 sides were $32... - a bit expensive in my opinion.January 15, 2022: LA County: we had dinner inside (INDOOR). I was surprised they did Not ask for Proof of Vaccination!!!Am I missing something? This is during Covid time when numbers are high!Also I noticed when they prepared food for orders employees did not wear / use gloves.I had Covid Dec 2020 before vaccines came out and still recovering!!! I may not the only one.Well, I am not going back until it's safe.
Yum. Took my mom here - she LOVED her sandwich and talked about it all weekend. It's the little things. And here, they make a good sandwich. ??

Heavily disappointed. My wife and I went in on a cold Tuesday night 12/14/2021 around 6:30-7:00PM looking to find nice warm delicious sandwiches and fries. We received the complete opposite. My wife's red bean torta was cold as cold can be and the fries were so stale to the point that they could scratch your tongue. To get even more into detail, they were playing soft joyful music where you order food but you can obviously here the aggressive rap music in the back. Not a family friendly place. The person who took our order and gave us the food looked like he absolutely hated being there and could tell by his attitude when asked for an extra ketchup which was met with "I gave you 4 already" when he really gave 3. When he realized he only gave 3 he didn't bother to apologize about his aggressiveness when he first told us how much many he already gave us. Never going there again. Also last tidbit, we asked for no onion in her sandwich and wouldn't you know it? She got onion!
Their sandwiches are pretty tasty, just the price is a bit up there. The service is great too by the way.
Called to see if the "local blue cheese" they have is pasteurized since I'm pregnant and can't eat unpasteurized cheese. Guy who answered the phone could not have been less helpful. He literally asked me "What does pasteurized mean?" Ummm it means it's gone through the pasteurization process, my dude.

It's already a hassle having to make sure everything I eat is safe for a pregnancy. Trust me, I would LOVE to just eat whatever and not make these phone calls. Having to deal with someone who is so unknowedgeable about the basics of food and who is totally unwilling to figure it out on top of what is already a hassle is completely obnoxious. Heading instead to the Coral Tree Cafe where they actually know what their ingredients are and where they come from.
