We love sushi and have been to some of the higher end spots - nozawa bar, matsuhisa, nobu, valley katsuyas, etc. Will try anything if the place is trustworthy! We had just had a baby and were finally getting out for a date night and wanted a fun omakase nearby. Sushi iki was by far our most exciting and delicious sushi experience (and most expensive ?). Chef Eddie and his wife put on an amazing dinner service and the whole experience is so authentic. He even grew the yuzu in his yard to make his sorbet. Really something else. Hope to come back here every year or so for an extremely special meal!
if you give less then 5 stars youre obviously upset cause youre used to mediocre quality sushi and prices or dont understand omakase. ive been coming since 2006ish and I cant name a better place in LA.
It was closed during their business hours. They did not even open for lunch.Drove all the way from Calabasas for nothing.
First time having sushi and wow 10 out of 10. Don't ask me about the names of all different types of sushi I had because I can't remember but they were all delicious. Eddie and his staff were great as well. Definitely will return.
It was a special night, and we were treated special from beginning to end by our own private Chef. Thank you Eddie you are a treasure
Absolutely amazing sushi and dining experience. Best sushi I have had outside of Japan! Lovely husband and wife team that provides an exceptional service experience.
Eddie is one of the best sushi master in CA, period. The only place that you can have omakase, and a full stomach at the end of the meal.
The place serves big dishes and for convenient prices. very welcoming staff. Great work.
Amazing experience. Some of the best sushi I've had. It's pricy but very worth it. The highest quality ingredients and variety of unique dishes. Extremely fresh and tasty. Truly one of my favorites.
The best Sushi In California and the best Owner !
