Worst customer service ever. After dining with them weekly for the past 3 years I will never dine with them again. Called on Tuesday May 17, 2022 to place an order, the hispanic man answering the phone was extremely rude. I placed my order he couldn't understand what I was saying "creamy pesto penne pasta with chicken". Proceeds to yell at me, so I decide to speak to him in Spanish so he can better understand my order. Then continues to yell at me for confusing him with my order lol Pasta Alfredo with chicken, with linguini pasta!!!! How was that confusing???? Lol ??? .I told you I wanted to place an order for 3 different pastas? !!! One pesto, one Alfredo, one italian sausage. Dude I'm trying to help you understand my order, don't get mad because you are incapable of understanding what I was saying. I know you have two pesto plates, be patient and maybe LISTEN AND SLOW DOWN....LISTEN TO THE CUSTOMER. I proceeded to call back and speak to a manager, the lady tells me she doesn't know what happened but she will take my order, very dismissive as she didn't care and just wanted me to place the order and get off the phone. Well I rather spend my money elsewhere and give other servers my 20% tip. Good luck!!!

Best ever Italian cuisine we can get is here at low cost and with good quantity.

These days it's hard to find something that the whole family will eat. Frankie's has always been a go to restaurant for my family for four generations. My 9 yr old loves the calamari and my 6 yr old loves the pasta marina. Great! Not anymore. Now all of a sudden they won't do a kids pasta to go (which they've done in the past, recently a couple times in the past two months) and want to charge for a full dinner. Hmmm...let's see I bet a child size dinner which is $4 less is also rightfully smaller than the adults. So wouldn't they actually make out better portion/dollar or at the very least break even. If that's what keeps their doors open, as was their explanation to me, then I think they are doing something wrong. While I understand that you cannot confirm if to go is actually for a child, again I argue that generally a restaurant makes out better portion/dollar. The fact that I'd even come to them in the first place for an $11 kids spaghetti marinara should speak more volume to them than the volume they mistakenly think they are mIssing out on. My kid won't finish it even in leftovers, so please keep more of your spaghetti but charge me only four bucks less, which I'd be fine with. Seems really ridiculous and makes me frustrated when it makes no sense. Petty and lame for them to take that stand.

We were looking for an authentic Italian restaurant for a small family group to celebrate a couple of birthdays. We needed to eat a little earlier than the average dinner time, so we were looking for a place that was open before 5 pm. Thankfully, Frankie's was open at 4 pm. We could make same-day reservations, and because we went before the dinner rush, we had the whole place to ourselves! There is a choice to dine on the beautiful patio or inside, where it is nicely decorated, and Italian music plays quietly to set the tone. Everyone raved about their order choices. Lasagna, Chicken Piccata, Eggplant Parmesan, Raviolis, and Pizza, it was all delicious. The antipasto salad was a little different since they give it to you all chopped up. However, it was still good. One of the biggest hits were the garlic bread rolls. Give Frankie's a try, and hopefully, you will get Carol as your waitress. She was absolutely amazing!

The greatest food with incredible friendly service. Richard was out server, was so incredibly patient and truly a professional which shows in how he takes care of his guests. I was with my wife and took our two close friends, I might add one gentleman as 87 the other 91! Richard was so caring to them, and made sure they were 100% satisfied. Even making sure to mention how hot the plates were so they did not hurt themselves. So many restaurants especially when you arrive within the hour their closing make you feel so unwanted and as if there doing you a favor to seat you. I had this happen recently at Maria's Italian kitchen on Ventura Ventura Blvd so we just walked out. Not at Frankie's, it was like showing up to your Moms place welcoming you with open arms. Seriously between the food and the service this place is INCREDIBLE!

great food and service. it's lovely to sit outside. service is terrific.

Our family has been coming here for years. I'm in town for the week & this is (of course) where my brother selected for lunch. Very tasty! It was so good that I ate the whole meal. The staff was great! Love the new decor!

I visited for a to go order after reading the promising reviews for this place and I was quite in the mood for an Italian dinner...So we got 2 pastas.. one was the shrimp pasta and the other was an eggplant pasta w lots and lots of tomato sauce for some reason. And OMG were they bad!!! The portions were fine so idk why you all complain about the generously sized portionsHOWEVER the quality and taste were just awful. Both of the pastas along w appetizers went straight to trash when I brought them home. So unless I get a response from a manager, I am never coming back here again.Lesson learned and appetite lost for the night. Thank you

My mom and I love coming here, especially for lunch. Staff are welcoming, polite, and strike up a conversation even if you've never been there before. The restaurant is always clean and it's aesthetically pleasing. For a two-person meal, it's reasonably priced. Food is always fresh and warm. Will be spending my 21st birthday here.

I really love Drunken Pasta, Chicken Piccata, Mushroom Ravioli, Eggplant Parmesan, Veal Parmesan and this is what makes this place very unique. It has all the delicious Italian foods.
