The Darkhorse is a great neighborhood bar. The food is good, the pineapple infused vodka is delicious, and it has a great atmosphere.
Service is very slow here. Been there twice and both times there was a single dude behind the counter and he was not attentive at all. We practically had to use literal flags for this guy to notice we needed help.Food and drinks are decent though.
Cute little place on Reseda, went during Halloween time and they had fun, creepy decorations. Got the Chicken sliders & House fries with maple ketchup and cholula aoli. The food was simple but good, really liked the Cholula aoli sauce. I know its a bar but i wish the portions were a little bigger.. Staff was pleasant and the atmosphere was nice, had fun watching people do karaoke.
Great food, drinks and atmosphere. Get the s'mores. Trust me.

Best bar in the area. So happy I live within walking distance, cause they make the drinks fairly strong. Happy hour is from 4-6 and the drinks/food always hit the spot. Friendly staff, nice atmosphere, and good drinks & food. Can't ask for more of your local bar. Special thanks to Brent and Sonya for being the best bartenders ever, and special thanks to Robin for always making me some bomb bar grub.

Haven’t been here for a long time but it’s become much better over the years (decades) because of the staff and the food, if you’re hungry after hours, they will offer you amazing food and the two people behind the bar do not care if you’re not drinking alcohol, they give you the same best service and even omit the bacon from their awesome taters app!Oh, and they deck this place out for all holidays in a very eclectic way!I hate leaving these great reviews as I’m selfish and don’t want it to no longer be a hidden gem… BUT..HERE I GO NOW…
Former regulars after owner forced us outside because of dog, which was the only reason we came here. Staff is cool. Music is terrible.
