Came today Saturday for their lunch special as seen on their menu (see picture). Was told by server Sanhil the menu lunch special date and time indicated is a typo. He was not willing to honor the indicated special. Also said there was no manager nor supervisor I could talk to. Me and my party of 6 left.
I was a regular at the Reseda location awhile back and frequented the place when it was directly next to Ralph's. A few years back it relocated to the east of Sprouts and I kinda of stopped going to it regularly. I would time to time come in and it would be ok. Somehow it lost whatever ambiance it had back in the day.I came in today, May 1st 2022 around and it pretty dead. All the empty booths had not been cleared, like 5 booths. There was only one waiter on the schedule and he was also in charge of bussing the tables. Man that's rough trade. We sat and he took awhile to get our orders. Our food took 20 minutes to be served. The good news the sushi was very good and fresh. Had the salmon sushi, tarzan roll, Philly roll all really good. I hope they can get their staffing issues fixes because the food is worth coming back to.
They welcome guests like family, and especially the hall service waiter remembered the food I had ordered in the past. I ordered the Japanese ramen and it was very good and my wife ordered the sushi. We were all very satisfied with their service, atmosphere and price. Abraham
Garbage food and garbage staff. Never go here if you want your food to be correct. Every worker is rude and demands you order immediately. Don't go here if you appreciate customer service.

How far this place has fallen from their glory days. Ever since they moved locations a few things have happened:1. Prices doubled2. Staff is 1/3rd of what it used to be3. Service is unbearably slow, expect to wait a long time.4. Staff is not friendly and are inattentive. I don’t blame staff as they are very busy and stressed from online orders, probably on the owners for being too cheap to hire additional staff5. Portions noticeably smallerMany better sushi options around here
If I can give zero stars I would. Went for lunch yesterday w my husband and 4 year old. Sat outside right away, but the service was a whole different story. Personally I love the food , but the service was just horrible. Usually there's a female server and male server. Yesterday we had the male server. When i walked in there, there was maybe about 4 customers total between inside and outside. From the start it took at least 15 minutes just to order our drinks first. Then took another 15 minutes to get our iced teas. Took another 15 minutes just to place our order which I wrote all the items on the paper. It took about 25-30 minutes to get most of our items and then the rest we never got because when I asked the server for the rest of our items he completely just forgot to put them in to be made. I also asked for a water for my 4 year old which never came. Mind you at this point there was no other customers but us. I had to ask for the check at which point he brought out and stood right next to me till i handed over payment and when I advised him on all the items I never got all he said was do you want them now? I have ordered many many times literally up to $200 worth of food each time and like I said while we actuall enjoy the quality of the food I would never go back to dine there again unless it's the regular female server or whole different person other than the regular male server they have.

One of the BEST sushi restaurants in L.A.! Spicy tuna roll and tempura appetizer were great!
