They use fresh fruits. Order something with real fruits instead of syrup. It may not taste as sweet as syrup but it’s the real deal.
Oreo pudding is great! This was a very weird dessert, looked lije slime but tasted awesome.They have vegan options too, which is very nice.
I enjoy the pudding here, but you do need to know what to expect (the base is very subtle & mild). However the fruit and taro drinks here are where they really shine. They use real fresh fruit of high quality instead of artificial flavors or powders, and they aren’t skimpy with their fruit at all. It’s a little pricey, but not significantly so compared to other popular places and IMO totally worth it. Their coconut drink is basically a whole blended young coconut, their avocado smoothie with other fruit at the bottom is decadent but in a healthy-ish way, and their other seasonal fruit drinks are always worth a try.
Checked out tong sui for some delish coconut pudding on a Friday night. Super quick to receive our orders (they're pre made). We got the taro and Ube flavor and the Oreo mochi one as well. Both are terrific choices. Granted for the price you pay, it's not exactly the most bang for your buck as it comes in a small glass jar. Also, it had a moderate sweetness to it, which was fine for me but not a thick sweet flavor that you might expect with boba for example.
I am kinda disappointed because it’s not the type of coconut ? jelly I expected. The coconut jelly don’t have enough strong favor, doesn’t have the super smooth texture. I also ordered the soy milk tea, drink itself it’s ok, nothing too special tho but the mochi that comes with it was hard, not soft enough. I think if you can’t make the mochi soft, it’s better not to give it out. I will give another try next time I am in the area, but so far, don’t recommend it.
Fresh coconut pudding! We tried the earl grey and it was wonderful. A bit pricey for the small jar, but once in awhile, it's OK :)
Really happy that a place like Tong Sui exists close to where I live. I'm just a big fan of everything on their menu. They have great coconut puddings and an even better coconut water boba tea. It has to be my favorite drink from here.I've even tried their warm corn milk. It was weird but good, almost like drinking corn soup?! Anyway, it does seem pricey but Tong Sui's got some good and unique stuff. Check it out.
Not my type of flavors, but my friends enjoyed the pomegranate flavors. There was a free dessert with yelp check in which was nice. Fast and helpful workers.
Love strawberry cheezo the most! Also tried avocado slush with mango, taro and ube sago, they also taste good and fresh!
