If you are a Vadapav fan and in Bay Area this is a must to go place. Call them or just show up and place the order it has the most authentic Vadapav taste i ever had outside of India. I tried many Indian restaurants, food trucks including Swaraj but FIC taste is exceptional.Satish Sir, Thank you for recommending the FIC special Vadapav it was heavenly yummy. Will come back again and again...
Famous for the Mumbai vada pav and Elaichi cutting chai. There are varieties of Vada Pav which you can try if you need options. The Schezwan Vada Pav is the better option. Recommend to the owner to add the spicy garlic chutney to the original Vada pav. Thank you for bringing the Mumbai favorite street food item to Bay Area. Staff is polite and courteous and has a sense of humor.
Updated review; still delicious but something about it hit the spot even more than the last time I had it ??
If you are looking for Authentic Maharashtrian food in Bay Area, this is the place.
Pretty good vada pav’s. Closest you can find to the authentic Maharashtra vada pav in US. Must try if you are in the area.
Kati vada was miserable, vada seems semi fried and tasted like eating flour . We ordered spicy misal pav but it was utter bland with no spices and salt . The taste was nowhere close lo authentic Indian street food . Completely disappointing
Regular Vada Pav missed most of spices and even salt in the vada. There is no chutney. It only comes with garlic powder and two fried chilies which were not the right ones to serve purpose or just weren’t fried the right way. Szechuan vada pav was better as it had the Szechuan chutney in it in addition to the ones in regular. Disappointed big way.
Vada pav was decent. However, our chai cups were less than half-full. Now, I'm not a glass-half-empty kind of person (pun intended), but you can't help but see that this is pretty dishonest! More so, when they charge $4 for the tea! This happened on multiple occasions and I'll just take my business elsewhere.
I have ordered regular vada pav..it was very plain, comes with no chutney and even the vada doesn't have any major spices inside. In addition, it was more of a Bombay style vada pav so if you are gujju, you will definitely disappoint. Don't try regular one...other could be better which I don't know.
We had misal pav here but no taste at all. Will never visit again.
