I'm absolutely awesome Thai food experience right on El Camino Real.
Thai spoon is quickly climbing up the charts to being one of my favorite and reliable Thai spots around. I loved the pad kee mao - good balance of vegetables. I had ordered spicy hot level but it wasn’t that hot! Very good balance of flavors. I also loved the vegan mushroom dumplings. Nothing was too oily which is always an at risk parameter I’ve found at other Thai places
Went for dinner. Some of the foods were great, some left us wanting more from it. The staff was helpful. Price was decent. Quantity was a whole lot.Liked the place. Will probably go back again.
Ordered the Chicken Curry, it was pretty good. A little bit pricey & wish the quantity was more. Service was quick, it was a to go order & it was ready within the given time.
First time trying this place. I read the review and took someone's recommendation for their pad see ew. I would rate this 5/5 cause it wasn't salty at all eating this, made fresh and it wasn't saucy. Portion size is definitely an individual size. So you want to share this, it's best to order 1 or 2 other things to keep 2 people's stomach full.Definitely coming back to try their Mango sticky rice & chicken satay! They are currently only doing take out so there is no dine in.
On 12/30/21 we ordered $100 of food and it was a mixed bag. Since I'm generally an optimist, I'll start with the positives: garlic string beans were supper yummy and all portions are somewhat generous. Our favorite Thai place closed during the pandemic and my daughter likes Thai Spoons. Their Pad See Ew is very tasty. Now onto the major disappointments. Did I mention we love their Pad See Ew? Well we ordered 2 and got Pad Woon Sen instead! I'm not a fan of silver noodles and we were extremely dissatisfied with this mistake. They don't even sound the same so how did that happen?! ...My benchmark for all Thai restaurants is Thai Basil Chicken (got to be made with ground chicken). Well Thai Spoons has their version where the sauce is "soupy" and bland - you can barely taste any Basil at all. Worse yet, they make it with celery so this time we asked them to remove it. But to no avail, it was nothing like most every other places with a dark sauce that is salty, sweet and spicy all wrapped up in one! Instead, here it is white and gelatinous. Not for me.
Ordered food over Doordash. Food was delicious, good quality and all my special requests were kindly taken care of. Thank you Thai Spoons team!Order: Chicken Satay, Green Curry w/ plain Tofu & Panang curry w/ Chicken & 2 orders of Plain rice.Spice level: MediumServing: 2 peoplePrice: ~$57
Fresh portions. Enjoyed authentic Thai in America which can be taken for granted unless you have experienced true Thai in Thailand! Pretty good. During Covid take out only.
The best Thai food in the area! If you are looking for great Thai food -- look no more. A very dedicated family business as well! I've tried a lot of different dishes, and everything was fantastic!! Highly recommend!
A great family run business! Food quality is consistent! Have returned numerous times with family. Their lunch bento box is equally good! You can choose the items!
