I've been going here for over 7 years. The location isn't much to speak of and the ambiance is even worse! ? But the food was always outstanding and consistent. Over the past 2-3 years though, they have changed their cooks and changed their recipes quite significantly. If you loved the food here in years past, you will be very disappointed. I'll still give it 4 stars because relative to other restaurants, the food is still decent. But relative to what Shah itself used to be, it's a massive disappointment ?
********PLEASE AVOID GOING THIS RESTAURANT***********The front desk guy is racist person who abuse customers, worst restaurant I ever came across in the bay area and its not only me who faced this situation, I just realize after going through other reviews. He is not properly trained to help or serve anyone, the owner himself is responsible for hiring people like him..I would have called the police if I was not with my family...!!!
Food was too oily, can get upset stomach.The place is not very hygienic.Naan was good.I would only go again if I have to.
If you go this place. They most probably threaten you. They did to me becuase I came 10.35 pm and they close at 11 pm. The guy standing in front told that he was manager. May be they don't want to work and just be lazy. This place should be shut down. I think women are not safe there too. I work in security and felt that. Then other people surely will. He was rude and threatening attitude. I never seen any restuarant do this. Horrible place!
Great food, quick service, this restaurant is a long time favorite for me and my family.
Its a trap online menu prices are totally difr than there in store.They charge almost double price what they have listed online.Food is tasteless there is no taste.it gives u taste like u are eating some can food.i had chicken biryani and chicken qorma both dishes were not worthy of the price they charge there is so many other better options than this place in Sunnyvale.
In its hey days, this place was a minimalist combination of delicious food and quick service.Now the food is not nearly as delicious. The seekh kebabs which are one of their signatire doshes was bland and dry today. The chicken tikka masala was ok but the garlic naan was crispy and flavorful as before, the saving grace of the meal.I think this is place is yet another casualty of the pandemic, hope the regain their old self in time to come
No one can beat them in tandoori Chicken leg, breast. Another best dish is Chicken Tikka masala or Paneer tikka with Garlic Naan, rest all is just average.
The place smells intense, like burning meat. The chicken tandoors were delicious though.
