It's been a while since we ate outside as a family. This is one of the best food I had in a long time. The Kid(Guy who is in the front) is very friendly and helping serving with a smiling face. We ordered takeout but we dined-in as we liked the place which is very organized and clean..
Food 5 starService zero starMight come again for good food but service is so bad so not worth an hour wait to get anything. The best home food outside India. Everything is very fresh and delicious. I highly recommend dhokla, any kind of paratha and thali combo.Dhokla - very authentic and comes with delicious chutneysRoti - Fresh thin fluffy chapati, perfectionParatha - thin good stuffing aloo pyaaz paratha, gobi paratha, plain paratha, yum yumI visit this restaurant every week and always loved the food. Only wish it opens a little early in the morning for a delicious breakfast.
Food is good, home feel. There’s a new teen waiting at the restaurant, definitely needs training. He’s wearing earphones and misplaced our dish to someone else table.Rather than apologizing and getting a new plate, he kept the same food from their table to ours and asked which dish the other person touched because he didn’t notice. He takes my food plate inside and brings back the plate in 2 min. Originally, this took 10 min. Again no apologies for the event or his mistake. When I pointed that the pooris were cold, he goes inside pretend / took a pic and showing his phone to us to look that only pooris were old and everything was replaced. It was more suspicious because why would someone take a picture of food being replaced. Even if that happens, within few seconds the picture from kitchen staff was sent to this waiting staff and was shown to us for few seconds. When customers don’t create a scene please don’t think you won, instead you lost, you lost their trust. There were no signs of Replacing the plate, even if he was true, lack of empathy and courtesy made the experience very poor.We come here once a week and used to enjoy the food here but now, I’d think twice, as the neighborhood has so many options.
Good food. I ordered Dabeli and Sabudana Khichdi, they were pretty good in taste except that it can be made with bit more of spices/masala. Also, roasted peanuts tastes better in Dabeli than raw. I will try more variety here.
We had ordered dahi puri, pav bhaji, mirchi bajji, masala puri, paneer paratha, bhel puri.Everything tasted good. For people who like chaat and north indian cuisine must try here. Although the restaurant is not big , it is the taste and quality that matters and it is worth the money.
I ordered bhel and sarson da saag here, both tasted excellent. Service can be improved.
A good cafe to have Gujarati food. I tried their Thali which was good for the price. Everything tasted like home cooked food and I loved it. Service is quick.
Wonderful service and food. It is not the best place for dining out but the staff will surely compensate with their warmth. The tea is good to indulge in too. I really loved the chana poori and piping hot samosas fresh out of kadahi and not just re heated.
Had ordered pani puri and it was not at all good. Pani was stale and bitter to taste.. puris were too oily and so small in size that can't even put the stuffing properly.. total waste of money !!
I did the sin of ordering Puran Poli from this place. It was more Aloo Paratha than Puran Poli. Please stop selling this item so others like me don’t have to waste their ?.
