Love this place and the vibe. The seating space inside is limited and almost always occupied but there’s some space outdoors which is really nice!I really liked the iced rose! I have tried the philharmonic, Lucas decaf, iced rose and Philtered soul so far and liked the iced rose best. This store has moved fully cashless!
Interesting concept…pour over in a hurry. While they don’t adhere to coffee nerd lore on the pour over process, it’s still a great cup of coffee that costs as much as Starbucks. Order ahead so you don’t have to wait. And good luck deciphering the blend names since the staff don’t necessarily know them either. It would be nice to know the major coffee bean regions are in each blend as opposed to a wine review description of how it tasted to someone.
It has been a while since I have been here. Coffee is great. The staff is friendly. But the music was so loud you could not hear the other person, or hear yourself think for that matter!I also agree with whoever said the tables are long and not enough seating; especially for such a centrally located place.Last time I was there, it was bad. They were out of paper in the bathroom. Took telling the staff 3 times before anything happened. That was the last time I went there!
Lots of coffee options. My go to Philz location as it is closest to my place. Drinks are made fresh right over the counter. Busy yet quick. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Food options as well. Kinda pricey for a single cup, but that's 2022 Bay area for you. Nice treat once a week or so.
Menu was a little different than my “norm” but the ladies working there helped me order something accordingly to what I had in my mind and it turned out to be amazing. Fast, friendly service, great cold brew. Bakery items looked great but I didn’t get any
A Philz is a Philz is a Philz: unimpressive. I've visited the Sunnyvale location on several occasions, trying a different coffee on each visit. While the concept of a coffee shop offering strictly pour-over coffees is nice, Philz Coffee hasn't satiated my taste or risen to the hype the Silicon Valley has assigned it.Positive characteristics unrelated to their coffees include many seats, ample power outlets, and their positioning beside a quiet park/plaza.
Awesome coffee, great service and good place to catch up with friends
I was handed over an almost cold latte even though I asked for hot latte and it was supposed to be served hot latte. The server just shrugged off on my complaint that there is nothing he could do about it as the cream was cold. He attitude was just like " get out of here, it is what it is. I don't care whether you like it or not". He was a young high school kid or college kid who probably was tired of his shift or did not know at all how to make latte. The attitude was - get out of here, we cannot do anything about it. That's how he ruined my evening with just giving me a cold latte, I just left the latte after taking a sip.I had ordered that latte 4-5 times before also in same Philz coffee branch and never had such issue. It cannot be that there is special cream that day that made latte cold. The guy simply did not want to address this at all.I felt really bad about it. Probably Philz coffee is just too popular to care about customer satisfaction at all.I know probably nothing will be done to address this but I just wanted to write that a good coffee shop should not have such worker to push customers away.I will think few times before I decide to go to this location again.
Best place close to Murphy Square where you eat lunch then Philz coffee. I like the Mint Mojito coffee & I like it hot. I loved it.
My go to place for a cup of coffee and coworking space. Lots of charging areas and seating. A cup of coffee here is also cheaper than some other South Bay locations.
