The service was great, but the food was off. It seems like they changed their extra crispy recipe . It tasted like their was a lot more flour than normal and while it was edible, it really wasn't great. It did however, taste better the next day, so there's that. The staff made the experience at the restaurant good and assuming the recipe was a fluke, I would go back simply because of that, however if the recipe truly did change, I doubt that I will ever go to KFC again.
Start with 5 stars because the food is always pretty good. One star off because the portions have gotten smaller. I should have taken a picture and next time I will, but my son held up his drum stick, and asked with his eyes, this is it? Mine was pretty small too. One more star off because we had 3 biscuits, but they only gave us one butter packet. And two more stars off because you still aren't allowed to eat in the dining room. We saw one person eating in their car outside. Every other place has their dining room open, but not this place. Annoying and irritating.

I had tried KFC chicken years agoand it was unforgettably greasy.Conversely today for a workmeeting we ordered big buckets ofKFC extra crispy and chicken BonChon. I ate the KFC first. Only thechicken was sampled out of thecombo meal. I grabbed a largepeice. I picked it apart with myhands removing all the bones andthen enjoyed it with Thai papayasalad. The KFC was not greasy inthe slightest I and am slightlybaffled to report?! Their secretspices didnt seem to hinder ornoticeably help their chicken.Moist not greasy, crunchy andnot over seasoned. Maybe "extracrispy" was a partial key?Whatever the case I, this time,would go back to KFC again togive them another chance BUT. .THE ONLY PLACE I religiouslyever go for my Fried Chickenis the Luckys on Halford andEl Camino. I have a tendency toorder only the wings because itdelights me so. More crunch forthe hard earned buck it seems.Only their plain chicken is everordered. KFC is uniformly moremoist while at the same timefully cooked, for certain, but I likea slightly more dry chicken.HALFORD Lucky is THE plain friedchicken KING. I love the smell and greasy and yet crunchy taste of good old KFC since I was a kid. You can never go wrong. This place was super fast and friendly. And they could actually speak English.
They forgot my large coleslaw (drive thru) I had to repeat what I wanted too many time and then they forgot my coleslaw. An hour later I felt sick. I was the only one that felt sick, but I ate the most out of everyone because KFC tastes soooo good.
