First timer here. Ordered their popular haemul pajeon (seafood veggie pancake) and gamja tang (pork ribs) soup. Both were very delicious but the ribs didn't have much meat on them and were very difficult to eat without making a mess and didn't have a place to put the bones so we had to sacrifice a couple of side dishes. They also make a kimchi fried rice from the leftover broth.Servers are very kind and can see their smiles through the masks despite being very busy. Beer wasn't on the menu but there were a few lagers to choose from including soju. Very busy on a Saturday evening so expecting a wait for the first come first serve queue.
Damn good food. Nice and spicy too!! Friendly staff helping out us non-Koreans on my food and drink selection .
Ordered Pork bulgogi for lunch. Enough portion size for two people for $25 total. Tasted great as well. They packed it well as well. Would recommend.
A small mom and pop Korean restaurant. It is small, but authentic! The service is a bit slow today, we waited a long time for the kimchi refill and tea. But I guess it might because they have a full house and a big group gathering. Other than that, everything is spot on.The food is nice as usual. The two of us is about $65.
Good food deserves a 5 star.;)
They don’t respect their opening hours. Been there twice, cannot enter. They don’t open around 2pm, and they won’t let you in after 8:30pm.What’s the point of having opening hours that you don’t respect? Just write “open randomly” next time.
Great Korean Food! The best Sundaekuk in the town.
I am so glad that Ive finally found a place that satisfies my cravings for pork rib soup! The soup was really good! The soup contains many pork ribs pieces, with some vegetables, and rice cakes. The pork ribs are filled with flavor, and cooked to super tender. AND!!!! when you are almost done with the soup, they put 2 bowls of rice into the soup and mix it into a kimchi rice dish. The rice ends up absorbing all the goodness in the soup and it is so flavorful! The seafood pancake was heavenly as well. Not only that it contains actual seafood, but also the pancake was the perfect texture, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. It was seasoned very well with scallion and some other magical stuff. The palace gets a bit busy around dinner time but the staff are super friendly and helpful, and they try really hard to make your experience more pleasant despite the long wait.
Don't try bossam , jokbal. Waste of money.
Had some pretty good Korean bbq, overall the staff was nice and the food was decent. The inside of the store was a little jank tho.
