Was hoping for a local neighborhood gem but was disappointed in the food. Had fried zucchini, a house salad and a custom medium pizza. The fried zucchini were great and the salad was freshly made but I can't get over the pizza being made with frozen dough. It was thick and tasteless with a terrible texture. The toppings were good though as they have linguica and good veggies. The place itself has friendly staff and a nostalgic vibe with games and bar seating.
Jake and I go way back...I will miss you guys when the tractors come to level out the place. Stack and Pack housing right up to the sidewalk, no room for couple of street trees. All about the money!Excellent pizza, please stay in Sunnyvale! Saratoga is sort of a trek for pizza.
Jake's has been around a minute, and there's a good reason why! They have really good pizza, ok burgers and sandwiches, and prices are still reasonable in today's crazy world. Two for dinner was $35! Plus, Jake's has a cool, old-style pizza joint atmosphere that really brings it all together for that dine-in, date night experience! Great job, Jake's team... keep up the great work! ?
Great food and friendly atmosphere. Perfect place for meeting up w friends and watch the game. Pizza is delicious as is almost everything on the menu. I love their buffalo wings too. It has the classic taste and texture. Two thumbs up for Jake’s
I've been coming here for years and even though I don't live in Sunnyvale anymore, I try to visit for their delicious pizza. Their wings are crispy and taste great. They also have a couple arcade games for kids to play, a pinball machine and a couple claw toy machines. There are lots of TVs and they always have sports playing. Staff is polite and friendly.
Seems like a very nice place. Wish I was able to try their pizza ? but dietary issues kept me from that. Had the Asian chicken salad. It was good.
Nice little spot and definitely a must try. Only tried a few pizzas and all were amazing. Will be returning for sure.
Great pizza ..had a beer while we waited for our pizza ..It's been around since I was in High school..in the late 70s
Nice food, reasonable prices, friendly staff, neighborhood dinner.
Jake's Gilroy specual use to be better. Now its too much cheese and not enough garlic.
