This was one of the best Italian restaurant I been so far, fun outdoor seating, friendly waiters, it took awhile for them to take our order but it was worth the wait. Bowl of clam chowder, salad and garlic bread was just okay but the pasta was unique. Cajun linguine seafood pasta was fantastic, little kick of spicy sauce with scallops, shrimp, squid and mushrooms were just perfectly seasoned. Tilapia over pasta was also delicious, garlicky and buttery pasta with capers, perfectly cooked noodles. They also gave orange sherbet as desert to clear our pallets, great dinner after work! They are also dog friendly!
10 years ago, this place was amazing! The food was great and the service was amazing, even on a busy night. Now, this place doesn't live up to its once great reputation.First, it's not clean: my water glass had crumbs in it, my utensils still had dried up food leftover, and the table was sticky. The soup, came from a can. The garlic bread was more like a huge crouton. The mozzarella sticks tasted like the ones you buy from the frozen section in the store. The pasta isn't fresh, it tasted like left over noodles that were reheated in boiling water. The meat sauce is too salty, and it tasted like it was cooked with burnt oil. We weren't satisfied with any part of the meal. Definitely, not the best Italian food.Service was slow, even though it wasn't that busy. They never came to refill our drinks. We had to ask to order, and asked to pay because no one was paying attention to us.Absolutely overpriced for the quality and service. Never coming back here again.
My go-to place for Italian in South Bay.+ Pretty much everything on the menu was so delicious. Pizza (highly recommend Hawaiian), scampi, seafood pasta, lamb shank, etc.+ Amazing garlic bread+ Love the interior decoration with old family pics, and occasional Italian and European soccer plays on TV!+ Very friendly owners+ Free ice cream as desert- Lettuce in Caesar Salad can be more fresh.
Odd little dining room, not the cleanest but serviceable. Chicken parm sandwich was very good. Pricey, but normal for the area.Lost one star because I handed my card to the server without looking at the check (my fault) and when I went to sign the receipt noticed I had been charged for an extra beer. The server kinda tried to apologize but seemed almost uncomfortable. I asked for another beer rather than messing with a refund. It left a bad taste in my mouth after a decent meal.
It has a decent number of vegetarian pizzas and at a reasonable rate. The seating area is also huge.Would recommend going there!
I am appreciative of you wanting to hear more and improve.1. pizza was just not tasty. The one thing I can think of is that it felt as if the olives (topping) had not been cooked for enough time. This topping issue was not too bad, but a clear lever for you to improve on. But, even if the toppings were perfectly made, the pizza was just not good enough (maybe it's the ingredients, maybe the process... I am not sure)2. Service was not great, server was unfriendly and super rushed. for example when I asked what sauce I can have for the side of salad, he replied "check in the menu" and just left the table!
Absolutely incredible time here. The atmosphere on the patio was lovely. My server German was so helpful and very charming, would honestly come back here just for him. 10/10 recommend this place!
Our favorite place when we fly into San Jose from TX. Great experience just stay under cover from the crows outside!
Good restaurant for vegetarian pasta. Chicken pizza was not that impressive. But they have decent sized portions. And if you are going for farmer’s market, you can stop by here for breakfast/lunch.
Great food and friendly service. Excellent pizza, pasta, and sandwiches with ample serving size. We had a mini (large for a mini!) cheese pizza as an appetizer and meatball and chicken parmesan sandwiches on this visit. The chicken breast was large, and nicely cooked, moist, and flavorful.
