You need to try their pozole! About $14 for a good portion of tender meat, flavorful broth, and LOTS of hominy. They give you a side of tostada chips and chopped raw veggies (onions, cabbage, and radish). The portion is very generous and could easily feed two people. I also really enjoyed the mixed pupusa! Nice crispy texture and flavor. I would definitely order it again.There can be a fairly long line/wait on the weekends. I came on a Saturday at noon and there was a line to the door. Their menudo is only served on weekends, and it seems pretty popular here!
I placed 4 orders and when I received it they turned it into 3. The mixed 2 orders to save material or something. I also ordered steak and shrimp super burrito with NO BEANS and made sure it was also written on the order slip, and they still put beans in it. The chef/cook there are so incompetent, the carne asada is too salty and tastes over cooked. I’ve been eating here for many years. They’ve just lost loyal customers.
Genuine and authentic mexican taqueria. The jukebox blasts exclusive spanish tunes, and futbol only on the tvs. Their salsa verde is butt puckeringly spicy. I had the carne asada burrito, as I treat that as the gold standard for quick judgement. Wish there was more onions and cilantro but the accompanying toilet smash didn't disappoint. Their coke is straight from Mexico so you get the authentic sugar-cane version!! Their service was just enough of too-busy-to-get-to-you-immediately.
This morning I went to eat at this restaurant before I got to oder there was a cockroach coming from the kitchen and heading to the dinner area. Food is good but they needs to be more clean and less rude to the costumer.
If you're not a Mexican but enjoy Mexican dishes then you must try their super nach. The best super nachos in 30 mile radius.
I would never ever ever go there again I paid $20 for a posole which sucked I had to leave it and the waitress was super rude talking behind my back in Spanish in Spanish don't go there super dirty definitely wouldn't recommend it..

Got the birrari burrito. The portion was large and food quality was great.
Food is good more authentic Mexican cuisine but some times slow service .Their seafood dishes are the best but pricey, shrimp tacos, and menudo With fresh made tortillas in the weekends also recommend. I do still believe is one of the best taquerias in Sunnyvale if you like the test of authentic Mexican cuisine you may like here.
Cant go on with life until you get a bowl of caldo de res. Beef stew. Given with 3 handmade corn tortillas, a plate with freshly chopped jalapeños and onions with a sauce dish of Mexican style arroz rojo. Amazing if you like chunks of beef in your caldo. (Broth)
