I went there with my mom yesterday. Actually, we both don't eat too much generally, but after we paid $84, we still felt we were not full!!!!!! There was a dish called chicken palm soft bone. After tax it should be $25, but the amount of that softbone totally was just half coca can!!!!! the 355ml size one!! !!! half!!!!! ridiculous!!! I don't know why this kind of cheating restaurant can open and alive in Bay Area. Actually $43 each we can eat very well in somewhere else!!!!
Eating here was an unpleasant experience for me. After hearing advises from one staff member, I probably ordered too much food (two main dishes for myself). Then, the guy who brought the food told me that this is too much, and demonstrated with his hands how fat I would be if I eat all the food. Then, every couple of minutes he passed by and said how much food is left for me to eat. This made me very uncomfortable. About the food, there are better places. I ordered a kong-pow chicken dish which was not tasty (not spicy enough and dry). The beef noodle soup was tasteless, and the meet was mostly fat. I don't plan to come back, there are much better options around.
This is a very nice restaurant. Even it is quite small, but the food is amazing. It is very authentic Hunan Rice noodle. It is the taste of my hometown. If you love noodles, if you love spicy food, don't miss it. Clean and nice dinning area. Very friendly server.
