Great foods, great portion, great service. Would recommend to anyone craving for okonomiyaki

Got 3 types of okonomiyaki, yakisoba and curry katsu for a party of 5, more than enough food. Favorite okonomiyaki was the ebi (shrimp). Flavorful and not too heavy. The seafood one was a little too heavy with the amount of mayo added. The katsu and yakisoba we're alright. Service was good, friendly waiters! Wait on a Saturday night at 7 was around 15 min.

I've been on my quest to try all the okonomiyaki spots in the area and this one did not disappoint. Me and my friends got different pancakes and they all looked great and sometimes heaping. The taste was great and different from other spots I've tried but i did wish you could add way more toppings than what they offer because it seemed like all the bases were the same you just had meat or no meat and various toppers. My other favorite spots let you add tofu, mochi, and other veggies. I could also tell they really shred all the cabbage super small which was fine with me but there was less texture. Always go for the noodles with these orders since it's much better than just the pancake. Service was also great and they were very patient with our party. Will be back if I'm in the area.

VEGETARIANS BEWARE!!!Unfortunately they cannot clean the grill properly between orders so if you order anything in hopes it will be vegetarian or pescatarian, they won't be able to accommodate the request. I am pretty disappointed by this because okonomiyaki and yakisoba can be made vegetarian pretty easily but the grill has oil from beef/pork/chicken. I hope that Fugetsu chooses to have a separate grill or pan to accommodate people who don't eat meat in the future.I will say that the staff is incredibly sweet and I am impressed with their kindness, professionalism, and transparency.

Have only been here for takeout. Ordering online is very easy but picking up during busy hours is kind of a nightmare - good luck finding any parking. I’m not sure if they offer curbside or not but it would be awesome if they did.The food though, is delicious. Great portions and pretty good pricing. I would definitely love to come back!

Why you should visit this place at least once:- Excellent customer service across servers- Appetizers- Japanese Okonomiyaki experience, though they added a lot of cheese to the otherwise traditional dish- Ramune soda, a Japanese soft drink which my 11 year old really enjoyed; so much so that we ended up visiting several Japanese grocery stores to purchase Ramune after this dining experience

It’s actually shown as Rokko from the outside. The okonomiyaki tasted really good and authentic (approved by my gf lived in Japan for 4 years)— the amount of cabbage and it’s sweetness were just impressive. Their chicken karaage was one of the best in South Bay. The were a variety of okonomiyaki, and we would come back to try different flavors!

Their okonomiyaki tastes ok, but it is not authentic. The texture is wrong, with too much cabbage. Takoyaki also has the wrong texture. The balls are too soft and the other is not crispy. Yakisoba is ok.

Still tasty but no more hot plate as table top so taking some fun out of the experience.
