I brought my Friends who are come from L.A. to try the spicy food in Bayarea. They said that’s better than Los Angeles some of the HuNan restaurant.I’ve been here for 3/4years already , I love theirs rice noodle so much . The rice noodle super chewy. We ordered the Steamed whole Seabass with green peppers . Even it’s not a fresh fish , it still taste super good , especially eat with the green peppers . And highly recommend the steam rice stirred with Chinese sausages , it’s so favor with the deep fried onions and garlic. The important thing is that price ! How valuable for 4ppl only $160 ( before tips) everyone is so full enough!Recommend who likes spicy food just come to try you will stuck here thou .
Highly recommended!Every dish I ordered taste so good and authentic. Their house made pumpkin pie and pork intestine are the best in the area. Highly recommend ordering these two. The fish they use for fish filets in hot chili oil is very fresh with a very tender texture. The spicy duck blood is also the best I had in the area with very fresh and well-handled duck blood. For people who wants to try a less exotic Chinese stable food, I recommend the Hunan style loofah and egg soup and asparagus lettuce stir-dry with garlic. This restaurant uses very high quality ingredients for their dishes. I look forward to trying more dishes from them in the future.
Ordered hot and sour lamb roll noodle. Great flavor but very small portion with minimum soup, paid extra $2 to add on fried tofu was a total mistake, the texture of tofu was weird, it feel like it came from a a bad frozen piece. $13 for this is a rip off. QR code scan to play order is nice and quick, keep the service and conversation with a person to the minimum too.
Came here at 5pm right during opening on a weekend and there was no wait even without reservations and we were the only ones to arrive this early. The ordering experience is awesome and all performed online but no need to prepay. You can pay at the end all together. The century eggs appetizer was delicious with creamy eggs and tofu in a nice spicy sauce. The signature noodle dishes were good however they didn’t quite eclipse perfection. Noodle texture quickly became soft and mushy from overcooking in the hot broth. Flavor was also a little lacking but asking for some spicy sauce on the side, was able to salvage it. Also the amount of protein given was quite a small amount, would have appreciated a little bit more.Overall, it’s still a nice place if you’re craving Chinese noodles as there’s plenty of noodles, enough for a second or third meal when you take it home.
I was initially skeptical since I saw that this place had 3.5 stars, but then my friend said he really liked it so then we came in.Good:The service is really quick and the ordering process is fun - you can checkout on your phone with your friends all ordering from their phones so the process is also pretty streamlined.I really liked the spicy beef tendon bowl! It was at first not something I was super excited for, but then I was really a fan of the broth and the noodles and found that it was just the thing to hit the spot after playing tennis. Good portion sizes too.You also get a complimentary bowl of peanuts and spicy cabbage which was a good taste bud opener.Bad:It was a bit more spicy than we thought and I'd be careful if you weren't a fan of spicy stuff. Also, it's definitely a no-frills place and simple for a quick in-and-out so not a super great place if you're looking for good ambiance.
The beef was unbelievably tough…not chewable at all. There were no recommendations provided for a first timer. They use a scannable menu so that the waiter only deliver the food when it’s done. No one checks if you’re okay with the food.
Our family really like noodle talk restaurant and tried various of rice noodle. All of them are delicious, I prefer beef stew soup and ordered again and again. My son loves the noodle so much he can consume large size of bowl noodle without leftovers.
Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant in Sunnyvale. The service is unmatched. The staff truly cares about your experience. The food is absolutely amazing – everything we tasted melted in other mouths. Absolutely the best meal we had while in Sunnyvale. Highly recommend!
I came back to noodle talk again to have my favorite rice noodles with pickled vegetables and beef. Still that familiar taste! This time through their scan table code self-service orders, from ordering to serving to checkout Very convenient. Will come back again!
I would like to introduce such a great hunan restaurant to everyone. The restaurant brings the great hunan local dishes to us and amazed us by its quality. Recommend!
