Food here is tasty and heavy flavored. You can ask for less salt less oil if you has a light taste and the chef accommodated it well. Lunch box is offered for $13+taxes during weekdays and you got to choose 2 meats and 1 vegetable from a variety of dishes. Arrive early as it could sell out fast. There are Chinese northern style pastry, especially during the weekend, which are OK to try.

The food is amazing try the atom its on the menu as very spicy but its so worth it. Also there kabobs are crazy good.
For our family, this restaurant is the place to get steamed stuffed buns in a variety of stuffing flavors. It's like our little kitchen to go whenever we want something quick and comfy for a brunch-like meal.Along that line, they also have things like deep-fried dough sticks, jellied bean curd etc plus a number of batch prepared cold dishes you can choose from as a combo plate. All these can be enjoyed together with the steamed buns.So, worth a try if you are into such food and not looking for anything fancy.
Definitely the best and the most authentic Tianjin food in the Bay Area. The restaurant is not that big but clean. Their buns are very good, fresh, and not expensive. A lot of people order buns (including me) there. They have many sorts of street style food in Tianjin, or say, the Northern China. Their cold dishes are also very good, and you can order in combination of hot dishes and make it a meal. Recommend!
Love all the breakfast options, I usually get whatever is hot and fresh out. Weekday lunch bentos are also a great value.
They have great Sichuan fried chicken that has a good amount of mala kick in the flavor. I've only ordered take out, and they are sometimes a bit shy with English.
