We used to like this place when we frequented before Q1 2020. Falafel leftovers were tasty when reheated in an air fryer the following day. The food overall felt less authentically mediterranean. (rice less tasty, hummus less flavorful)
Generous portions of Fresh good food. Was glad to stop at this gem of a place. Super cute and clean inside and found it refreshing. Will be back to try more.
Gross ? no flavor at all, Greek olives had seeds it them wasn’t for warned almost broke one of my button teeth. the workers had no joy. Walked around like they were moping. This place was empty as well.I received no water with my meal. Wouldn’t recommend coming here.
I visited Falafel Bite on a biz trip recently. I ordered a falafel sandwich without pickles. The (presumably) owner/manager explained most customers liked their pickles and that they made their pickles in a special way themselves. I couldn’t be persuaded to try though. So when he brought me my order he asked if he could still offer me some pickles to try on the side. I obliged and since I saw they looked nothing like pickles I was used to, I decided to try them when I got in my car. The verdict? Delicious! Next time I am visiting the area I will get the falafel sandwich with “the works!” Thank for letting me try them!
My falafel wrap with eggplant was perfectly fine. The staff was nice and they have *hot* tea available while you wait. I wish I'd asked for spicy but didn't think to and they didn't ask.
Was craving some Mediterranean food before shopping at the nearby Walmart - glad I found this tucked away place!Really nice lady, fantastic steak/lamb shawarma!
Ordered Beef and lamb shawarma plate. Small side salad, half pita, rice and all it's inside. Plenty to feel full.
The food taste was underwhelming.I had ordered for a Rice Veggie plate and a Chicken sheesh kabab plate.Felafel was crunchy and tasty. Apart from that the rice was lumpy and taste less. It felt like it was cooked long back. The hummus and pita was ok.The sheesh kabab tasted okey. The rice in this combo was again lumpy and didn't feel like fresh at all. Close to taste less when compared to many other similar Mediterranean restaurants.Quantity wasn't great either.
Great recipes butchered by Mexican cooks who don't know much about Mediterranean food and don't care much about it. No consistency, the same dish comes cooked or garnished differently each time. That's when the order is correct. The Mexican lady at the register spends lots of time on her phone, touches money then food, is loud with personal phone conversations. They couldn't care less. The food is way overpriced.Response to owner: I know low attention-to-detail and poor quality recipes when I see them. Food and service do not lie. From a dining room/guest perspective, it appears to me that the heavyset Spanish-speaking lady at the register performs poorly and should be trained, if not just fired. Mexican or not. At the end of the day it's your business.
Placed order through Uber eats, cook claimed he had already prepared and that he doesn’t care if it was repeat order or separate order , but I haven’t picked up order so it must have been someone’s else’s order .. even the front desk person had to convince cook the same that order was never prepared… but cook wasn’t interested.. after front desk person convinced him that order was never made he made a absolutely disaster order with burnt bread and no sauce .. while I truly appreciate front desk person and owner cooks ignorance doesn’t makes it worthwhile.. also cook was wearing mask on his chin not on his face (as mandatory)but on chin
