Just stopped by to grab some snack without any expectation, but I’m pretty amazed by the sui mai. It’s delicious even though quite expensive. The turnip cakes are nice too.
Dang man, they increased their prices again. It's $4.35 per order now (3 pieces per order). I just ordered 4 orders for a total of $18.97 with tax.That's $19 for just 12 pieces of dumplings!!!!It doesn't feel worth it for that price. I get everything is getting expensive in CA. The middle class just keeps losing out. If we increase wage, we increase cost of goods. We can never win. But anyway, this sucks because I probably won't eat here again for a long time. If you keep the prices low, customers can keep coming back often. Too high and it feels like luxury food. I can't justify spending that much for it. It's better for me to just go to in-and-out. I get filled more at half the cost.
okay for dim sum take out if you are in the Sunnyvale area.Prices here are higher than what you can get in downtown chinatown SFO.Prices and quality of dim sum you can get in chinatown are far better.
During lunch time, the waiting line could be long because it was pretty cheap! But don’t worry about the long line, it actually moves pretty fast. The combo meal comes with really large portion, but the quality of the dim sum, IMO, is slightly lower comparing to other restaurants selling dim sum.
Been coming here for a couple years now. Good, affordable, and quick. Get there early for the turkey dog buns!!!!
Had lunch here and was so excited by the menu! Sadly the food was terrible. The chicken dumplings tasted really off. Bean curd tasted like pork. Custard buns were old. Few hours later both myself and my husband have upset stomachs. At least the staff was super friendly. I think the quality of the ingredients they use are just really bad?. Please consider using better ingredients particularly the meat and only serving fresh buns not stale ones.
Love this place, too bad the customer service sucks real bad. Both young Asian guys working behind the counter have major attitude problems and needs to work on their listening skills. Good food for a reasonable price though. The bbq short ribs are delicious. The dim sum are awesome! Lucky for them it’s my go to dim sum to go. I would not recommend dinning there if they ever go back to that again until they train their employees how to properly greet and talk to their customers.
Service Sucks on this place. The young lady on the 12pm today, Tuesday keeps on rushing me. I was going to buy a lot of dimsum but i have to cut it short for she is rushing me to be done. There are places out there with greater service. Do not buy from this place
