Great breakfast options, easy seating, wonderful service! I've enjoyed both the veggie and spinach omelette with the biscuit and the coffee cake side. Personally, I love the biscuit side, it is not your standard biscuit but that is what makes it special IMHO. Coffee cake is studded with blueberries and walnuts and is also lovely. If you are meeting friends, the pitcher of mimosas (serves 4-5 glasses) is surprisingly affordable (approx $18) and you can choose between orange juice and raspberry lemonade versions. Definitely a breakfast place worth going to!

Poor service. We had to ask 4 times for a high chair for our toddler, which took good 20 minutes to get. After 40 minutes of waiting for food to arrive, we had to go inside to ask about the wait time. The restaurant did not look very busy. Same story when requesting a carryout box. I ended up going in to get it myself.The food is nice, but i would not recommend this restaurant if you have toddlers and need a fast and family friendly service.
Horrible food ,over priced and they cat fished me with the pictures they put up on yelp. I ordered a sandwich that looked spectacular but did not even come close to size or design that they had up on yelp.Also no Fries what kind of diner does not serve fries. I felt like they were stuck in their old ways. I had to stand in line and order my food instead of being served at my table while seated.They call themselves gourmet, get out of here !! How dare you , the shame the scandal ,you just country, nothing gourmet about you.
I took a friend to lunch at the Country Gourmet, and found it just OK and very pricy. One enters and orders from a limited menu at the counter. The interior is typical coffee shop. Luckily, there is outdoor seating. As it happened, we both ordered omelets which were quite good. However, each came with either some fresh fruit or potatoes or toast, and were quite expensive at $12.65 and $12.65 plus $4.25 for ham. Soft drinks were $3.75 each. The food is delivered to your table. The staff was friendly and pleasant. I did not feel what was provided was worth the cost, and would not return.
Love the idea of ordering and paying before sitting down. Had a ham and cheese omelet and potatoes, the omelet was unusual because it had cream cheese which made it very rich still good but different... Not a fan of the potatoes but that's okay they both were large portions.. My wife had the French toast which she loved I personally don't like orange like that but she say it's very good ?. The restaurant was very clean and sanitized for Covid a big bonus! Will definetly eat here again.!
Wonderful restaurant to meet with friends because we ate outside and had a heater! Their food is always delicious and the service is excellent!We always go there for our birthday and holiday celebrations!
Saturday morning brunch:(~10.45 am)- Ordered Mexicali scramble with a side of biscuit and freshly squeezed orange juice.- Mexicali scramble was good with black and pinto beans with a touch of sour cream and guacamole with tortilla chips, the right size not a huge portion. Biscuit is not your usual layered soft biscuit, this one is big, and it crumbles and texture is a little new, I’d prefer the softer ones to this kind. Orange juice was a lil meh.- Service was quick and very good. Space was very clean, though there were people literally wait time was less than a minute. Prices were reasonable.
Country gourmet is a great place for lunch. They're open at 8:00 so they serve breakfast too but I've never gotten there early enough. Every time I go, I intend to try something different on the menu but I always go back to their almond chicken salad. It's so good! ?
Friendly servers. Prompt service. Huge portions.One orders food first at the counter and then sit down. This is very time efficient because one doesn’t need to sit around at the end of the meal and wait for the check.There were 11 people in our party and they helped to arrange the tables for us. 2 people shared a spinach omelette. Without requesting an extra plate, the server brought over a plate. An extra star for the attentive service.We had good food and a pleasant experience! Will visit again.
Place was really good. Very quick and super friendly. The gluten free options are amazing.
