Overall tastes good, but the fried skin (裹粉) of the popcorn chicken is a bit too thick

I visited this place three to four times this month and really liked the food. However I was really disappointed today. I ordered my usual, GPie rice plate. The GPie has this nasty smell of frying oil and it made me nauseous after one bite. I ended up throwing out the whole plate as the smell is just not bearable. This makes me wonder how often they change out the oil. I will not visit Chick & Tea ever again.

The food is delicious in general. I love their boba tea. My only suggestion is that can we have less oil in the fried chicken? This may sound funny because it is “fried” chicken, but I do think the fried chicken here has much more oil.

Good popcorn chicken and Taiwanese sausage bento.

I ordered the braised pork but it’s fried, not authentic 台灣鐵路滷排骨braised pork, kinda disappointing. Also 三杯豆腐菇tofu and mushroom were salty. Broccolis and rice were small portion.

Their fried stuff is so good! I really liked the gpie and taro balls.Side note: I thought the basil teriyaki chicken wasn't a good combination of flavours when eaten fresh. It tasted good as leftovers though.

Needs salt.Otherwise the Gpie is well made. I’m used to Taiwanese food and its sweeter lean. Also the milk teas lack tea flavor (bad) and is light on sweetness (good or bad).

The taste is decent and large portion and fast service. It's a bit greasy. Price point is on part. Their ďrinks are a bit sweet so if you like it less sweet make sure to ask for less sugar.

Good bento boxes and reasonably priced.

Decent Taiwanese snacks. Their fish tempura was excellent but often sold out.
