I lived in and around Philly for over 20 years and I've cheesesteaks from all of the major cheesesteak joints, including restaurants not featured on the plaques on the walls in The Cheesesteak Shop, like Ishkabibble's, Chubby's, and Sugar Hill Subs in South Jersey. All that aside, the cheesesteak I had today was that one of the most delicious cheesesteaks I've ever had. A solid nine out of 10. Possibly a 9.5. One of the few places that offers cheese whiz as an option. A true Philadelphia tradition! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I have been coming here for years at this point. The cheesesteak shop is the best Philly cheese I've tried and it being a chain means you get the same quality at any of there stores. This one in Sunnyvale though, is hands down my favorite place to eat. The owner that has run it the last few years has done an amazing job along with the crew. There is 1 manager there that has cussed me out for ordering my same complicated order that i always get, so when I walk in and he is working I leave and won't eat however everybody else that works there is nice, considerate and friendly. When I go in they remember my face even with the mask on and because I always order the exact same thing as complicated as it is, at this point I don't even have to tell them what I want. I walk in, say hi to everyone and they ring up and cook my food perfectly every time exactly how I like it.I get a King of Phili-Steak- with hot peppers and onions grilled with the meat- add a large portion of chicken-extra well done- add extra American cheese- with a large garlic steak fries and they even wait to drop my fries until the sandwich is done like I've asked so they are extra hot after the sandwich is done(it stays hot because the meat is well done and the extra cheese) if you try it, tell them Gio gave you the idea. I love this place and everyone that works there.

You really can't find better cheesesteaks on this side of the Mississippi River. The staff is always friendly and the experience is always great. Thanks guys for over 11 years of awesomeness! The ONLY downside is this place closes at 8:30 pm, so make sure you get in there before then!

The best cheese steak I've found that isn't located on the east coast.* The sweet and hot peppers are an excellent addition to The King of Philly. I can never finish the whole sandwich so I always have leftovers and the cheese steak reheats fine in the microwave or toaster oven.* The steak fries are usually tasty but they needed some serious salt yesterday. That was a first.* Pricing isn't too bad, The King of Philly (which has double the meat of the regular cheese steak), fries, and a drink is just about $20

Some of the best cheese steaks around this area. Many choices and variations to fit your needs. Western and Garlic lover is my favorite!

excellent cheesesteaks and other Philly landmark foods. Very highly recommended.

I can't stress enough how good this place is. I've tried many Philly Cheesesteak sandwiches and I have to say, Cheesesteak Shop makes the BEST. Their meat is high quality and everything about the sandwich just screams with flavor. Prices are fair for the quality of the food. I love the variety in sides too, house made chips, steak fries, onion rings, curly fries etc. They'll keep getting my business!

Serving customers out of order, waited way too long for a small order which ruined my excitement. Cheese steak was decent though

The best cheesesteak I have ever had. Tasty but not salty and greasy. Excellent service. Good price. Clean. Don’t change a thing!!!

Simple and tasty cheese steaks. You definitely get your money’s worth
