I’ve been coming here for 20 years and just love this place. The portions are large, prices reasonable, menu extensive, plates hot, and chips limitless.But the real star are the employees/owners. This is a family place, the staff has been there forever, and are just the nicest people you will ever meet. Fast, polite, always remember you. I’d give this place 10 stars if I could because of the staff. In fact, I drive 20 miles from my house to visit passing countless other restaurants to go here….it worth it that much.

I've been to Casa Lupe like three times now, over the past year, year and a half. It's always pretty good, but it just doesn't wow you. It's kind of just regular ol' Mexican food... I can't say much bad or good about it. A little pricy. Three for lunch was $75! No dessert, no drinks, no appetizers... just the entrées. Pollo Loco has a better, less expensive burrito, you know? ?
Really great food, generous portions, and the staff were all awesome! It was a fun night and I would absolutely come back. I definitely recommend the steak fajitas and fried ice cream.
It's been there a long time, family owned and operated. It was once more authentic, but is still a good olMexican place. Slightly overpriced. Friendly and always crowded. Sunnyvale was the one time home of Mex-Joints on every corner. This is the last of a handle full left. They were all better and a better deal back in the day. But as far as 2022 in a town once known for its Cherries and Cots,................it's about the best of those which remain. Can get packed, so plan a head, the old locals like the place; there was once more Taco Joints than gas stations. I like it; but miss the 30++ other family joints which have move on out.
Amazing service and great Mexican food. Loved the quick service with complimentary chips and salsa. Didn’t have to wait for more than 5 minutes and we were served warm chips and spicy salsa. The enchiladas were enough for 2 people, overeating and leaving the restaurant satiated. Food coma?Lively decor with colourful sofas.Would highly recommend this place for good Mexican vegetarian options. Good vibes !
Let me just start by saying THANK YOU FIRST AND FAR MOST MIGUEL. HE HAD BEEN MORE THAN WONDERFUL. HE IS SO WARM AND INVITING. HE IS AND GOES ABOVE AND BEYOND EVERYTHING AND THEN SOME TO PLEASE US. HE DOESN'T HESITATE AT ALL. BOTH TIMES I (STACEY, CHARLES' DAUGHTER) HAVE GONE TO PICK UP FOOD FOR MY FATHER AND I AND BOY HAVE I BEEN SUPER ? ? SATISFIED AND THEN SOME. GOOD IS AMAZING. A little pricy but the portions are really good, the flavors are amazing, and the chips and salsa are ??? I can't believe I hadn't eaten here before, might be my new go-to spot. Service was also really great and friendly ?
Came here on a Wednesday for dinner with a friend and a reservation and got seated right away!Good:Great portion sizes and affordable pricing! I really liked the chicken enchilada California since it was recommended to me and had a ton in the plate too including grains and lots of sauce and sour cream.Bad:Takes a long time for the food to get to the table and also to flag down waiters. It’s also a bit dirty inside so we had flies coming around and buzzing.Overall a fun vibe and felt authentic! They also have great free chips and salsa!
We enjoyed our dinner at Casa Lupe recently. We were surprised to see how busy they were. After about a 5 minute wait we got a table outside which was our preference. I had the enchiladas montadas and my husband had a chile relleno and an enchilada suiza. We both enjoyed our meals. I hadn't had eggs on top of enchiladas before but really liked it.
