They allways charge me two dollars too much, one dollar for non cash (credit card surcharge, which is illegal) and one for no reason at all. There is an unaccounted price difference of two dollar with the price on their menu and also between the two receipts I receive.
I have been to many food trucks in both Southern and Northern California and this one may be the best of all. The simple, straightforward menu has just the right amount of selection -- not overwhelming or confusing. The meat quality in the tacos is very high and perfectly prepared. The bean and cheese burrito is one of the best I have ever tasted. The service is courteous and friendly. Highest recommendation. I'll be back.
I heard someone recommending this truck a while back. I finally checked it out. My chicken burrito was one of the best I've ever had. Simply delicious. The menu is simple, tacos, quesadillas, burritos, tortas, etc., but the quality is exceptional. (They have Mexican Coke, too.) They are tucked back at the gas station on the southeast corner of Union and Curtner.
Easily the best burrito in the South Bay.I've tried many places and a burrito is usually a burrito; both tasty and filling. But Alams stands out.Their food is always packed with flavor, prepared quickly, and at a fair price. It doesn't hurt that the location is very convenient for me.I came to Google Maps to update what I'm sure was a five-star review, only to be surprised that I hadn't yet written one. So here's my update:My experience with my super burrito from Alams on May 27, 2022 stands out. The burrito was larger than usual and extra tasty. Maybe I was simply very hungry, but I enjoyed it even more than anticipated (and my expectations were already high).Keep it up Alams! See you soon.
Look no further!! Your local taco truck with all the flames is here. Im not sure how long they’ve been coming to Newhall but I’m glad they are. Perfect pit stop on the way home after work, great food and good prices. The gentleman working the local food truck could not be more genuine and amazing of a human either. Slanging heat out of back!! ?
I had 4 carne asada street tacos,after I wanted 4 more. Clean and quick service for a taco truck. Overall I give it a 8 based on taste and freshness of ingredients. Only complaints is Alan's needs outdoor seating,& too be more generous with the meat
Great local spot for fresh Mexican food. Don’t be too shy to try Cabeza, Lengua, and Suadero, they are outstanding!
Delicious- fast - better than the restaurant taquerias I’ve been to in the area so far. We called to confirm if they were open and they picked up immediately. Will be back soon!

Always polite with quick service! Best burritos around! Variety of food and drinks! From someone who eats on the go daily at work I highly recommend over other places I've tried!
