This pizza place is phenomenal and they serve classic NY slices. They have options both for vegetarians (pictures) and meat eaters (pepperoni and other kinds). The pizza slices are large, reasonably priced ($3.5 for cheese plus $0.5 for each topping) and most importantly, delicious, warm and fresh. You can also get whole boxes in different sizes. The place itself has a nice ambience, New York style feel to it, not too big but you can certainly bring a small group of friends to eat. Very hygienic, they have a touch-free wash basin, soap and paper towel dispenser along with drinking water for free. Highly recommend this place if you're in the area and looking for a pizza place - skip the chain stores and try this, you won't be disappointed.Update - went here years later and still fantastic pizza, service, and ambience. Definitely lives up to its name!
[Updated] We used to come here every couple of weeks to enjoy the best pizza in the area. We moved to another city now that is further but we still stop by or come here to enjoy the pizza whenever we can. 4 years later after my 1st review, I still love most of their pizzas, and my favorite is still white pie (they will usually make one for you if you ask). Definitely give it a shot when you are there next. Thank you guys for the best pizza in the neighborhood and for always being so nice! ?♥️
Already gets a 5 from me for being a workers’ co-op but it’s even better that the pizza is gas tooAs a former New Jersey local, this is the only pizza around that is like… edible LOL. No but for real, good pizza, cool atmosphere, great staff, and ethical business practices make this my go-to. Wish they were open for more hours in the day, but it’s totally serviceable as is. Other than that, perfect! Keep it up!
I was really looking forward to this place and honestly the quality of ingredients is quite superb for a very thin slice of oily pizza for $6. however it is not very filling at all so it's more like a snack. staff and environment are super cool
I'm fairly certain that if the ninja turtles ever came to the bay area, this is the only place they'd eat. And for good reason: the pizza is the best in the area and 100% NY-style. Cowabunga!

I've spent 10 years trying different pizza shops looking on the West Coast. Many in the Bay claim to serve new york style pizza but none come close the tastes you get back East other than this place.I've been to both locations(Sunnyvale and Santa Clara) and they both are spot on!!!! The crust, the sauce and the cheese all bring back memories of my favorite spots in NY. They serve REAL new york pizza!This IS the best NY pizza you can get on the West coast and possibly outside of new york!
Wonderful place to get pizza! And would definitely recommend getting garlic knots. Have come here a few times and enjoy it every time, although being able to get certain flavors/toppings can be difficult because they sell out fast. Would also recommend calling ahead of time when you want to order an entire pizza instead of getting slices.
As a lifelong east coaster in California, I miss good pizza. ASONY does not disappoint. Highly recommend this place.
Fast, friendly, and very good prices for such large servings. Not to mention that the pizza is some of the best you can get in the bay! Highly recommend!
