I always get 2 bagels from here delivered to my house. The first bagel is toasted to perfection but my second bagel is always a little rushed and doesn't seem to be toasted fully. However, the staff is super friendly and efficient when I go inside to order.Go inside to order and your bagels will be perfect!
I don't see how this location stays in business. My bagel was like eating a ball of raw dough white and smooshy oh, and the customer service is so strange, I almost feel like the girl did not have a clue what she was doing.
Just ordered bagel&a hashbrown..10min later get my bag walk2car open it up "no hshbrn"..walk back to store they make me wait more than few min then finally I get a chance tell em that they forgot to include my HB,she goes&grabs one wraps it paper&hands me a cold wicked HB...cust.serv. a big 0 is ?
The Studio City location of this company owned bakery-delli, WESTERN BAGEL, offers a comprehensive selection of bagels, cream cheese and European baked goods.Traditional boiled bagels are smaller, have a denser crust, than the steamed bagel offers. The inside is rich and firm, without the airation resulting from the steam, proffing process. Quality is above average. Sandwiches are stacked high with paper thin veggie slices and the protein of your choice. Build your bagel with a selection of veggies, lox, a smear cream cheese, (vegan or conventional) and you have a delicious sandwich. Their rich, flavorful coffee isn't bad either.Seating is available both inside and out. There are no public bathrooms in the eatery. The nearest facility is across the courtyard. The restaurant staff will direct you.Lots of free parking in a multi level structure, located behind the center, and paid street parking in front. The multi-story shopping center is supposed with ramps, escalators, and elevators.Sandwiches are served in clear plastic boxes for easy takeout.There are wheelchair ramps and elevators.

Place sucks. They fail to fulfill orders correctly, if they ever fill them at all. They also conveniently wait 30-40 minutes and THEN cancel your order effectively screwing up any window you were likely working in with regards to a meal break. This specific Western Bagel definitely sucks at the employee level.

So first of, eating bagels regularly in NY and NJ for many years, that is what I compare to, when eating bagels anywhere else.The bagels were tiny (took photos with a quarter for scale..), dough tastes nothing like a bagel and the cream cheese was too sour.Defiantly not recommended, even if you never had a real bagel.
Always a great bagel . The Bialys were great as well.
