Food appearance was great! Carne asada is very good. My husband got a fish burritos but it wasnt so tasty.chesse quesadilla was good and the horchata drink was prefect. I got nachos but the chips got soggy so i couldnt enjoy my food. So personally i wouldn't go again, but they did have a couple good things.

From Idaho I googled some Mexicans restaurants near Universal Studios and The Salsa Bar came up. Awesome food, real tasting Mexican food! Nachos were good, torta and burrito were also good. Thank you for the awesome food and service!

Great food. Really prepared with care. Great staff: charismatic , and really good service

Love the Tacos, and like the decor.

Delicious! But the price/portion ratio is a miss. But maybe that's because I ordered the shrimp

Really good food, SUPER nice people working there, EXTRA clean place, and great prices. The Carne asada was so tender and flavorful. I have eaten it several places back home in TN and it was always tough little tasteless pieces of chewy meat. The Salsa Bar actually serves what tastes to be charcoaled, VERY tender, perfectly seasoned, steak cut into strips… and the portion size was huge! The beans with cheese was great also, nothing like the canned tasting ones I usually receive back home. My mom and 20 year old daughter ordered the chicken salsa bowl, it was delicious, full of flavor, and the portion size was big on that item as well.

Went here after a day at universal- nachos were loaded and huge size serving, burritos were big and filling, staff was excellent and prices were great! Literally a 5 min drive away from city walk . Enjoy some yummy Mexican food after a long day of exploring at universal

William was the epitome of good customer service, and the Al pastor was out of this world. I’ll never forget how they let us sit and eat after closing while getting to rock out to some awesome Mexican music! Will go back again and again.

This place was excellent. I'd describe it as a fun hole in the wall. My wife and I came here last night. They do not keep the salsas readily accessible at the "salsa bar" anymore, due to COVID. But a server very kindly offered to pour us samples of each of the house made sales. I believe they were seven, and they were each super unique and delicious. I got four tacos (al pastor, carnitas, steak, and shrimp). They were each very good, but the al pastor was by far the best. I'll be back to have the al pastor again, and to try the torta and burrito. Highly recommend!

Really good burritos! Plus they had good music too
