Love this Counter. Good food, good service. I don't look like their typical customer, BUT the service was friendly enough. They were friendly and conversant with the other customers. There are TVs inside to watch sports or other entertainment. Lots of parking. Several other businesses in the area to make a day of it (FedEx, Vons, CVS, several banks in the block, lots of cool retail stores such as Free People, Urban Outfitters, Chicos, M. Frederic, and MUCH MUCH more. Come over to the Counter on Sunday for lunch, but come a little early and enjoy the Farmers Market at Laurel Canyon and Ventura Blvd). It's the secret of Studio City and the Triangle.
Ordered take out...Got there early so I can pick up the food while its "fresh and hot".Food was cold on both orders, avocado and lettuce were old , the burger tasted too charred the meat was dry...clean that grill? @the chef..They did not throw in the shoestring fries and when I called back they made a big deal about it so I just clicked on batti boy. Realistically the cooks in the back know that they had an order and if its still sitting there.. Not complicated.I ended up vomiting at the end of the night cause of what I ate. I would never treat any of my guests to this place. It's too expensive, not fresh or good quality...for the price I expected much more.Sorry , but in n out destroys this place if im ever too lazy to cook my own whole foods burgers on the grill again.(never will come by this place again even though its 2 mins away from me.).
Nice atmosphere. Family friendly, but a good selection of beers available for the adults. Order from a variety of great looking dishes on the menu or create your own from an extensive checklist of options. Tasty food obviously made with quality ingredients.
The burgers here are nothing short of amazing! The waitress was super friendly and attentive.
Wowowoowoow!!!! What an incredible place for making your own burger! The impossible burger can be made anyway!Definitely loved the fresh jalapeños.My order was to go and they put the garlic aoli on the side which was a great call.Definitely will be back!!! ?
The Juicy Lusy!! Wow!!
Love this place! Best burgers EVER! Gourmet ALL THE WAY!!
I would normally never eat at a beef burger place since I am vegan, but I've eaten here twice with an omnivore friend who loves it. The biggest pro in my opinion is that there's a parking lot in the back thanks to the Studio City Vons. Also, we were seated and served quickly both times I've been, which is a plus. The menu has lots of options, and you can build your own burger. The top con is that the burgers are not much better, if at all, than more reasonably priced burgers in the area. Really, you're paying more for the experience of building your own, so unless you want to build your own, I'd go elsewhere. And if you're vegetarian or vegan, I wouldn't eat here unless necessary because the menu does not say whether ingredients/items are vegetarian- or vegan-friendly. No, this place was not made for herbivores, but it's still in LA, so I'd expect a little more transparency. Plus, to swap out beef for Impossible, it costs about $4 or $5 more, so be prepared to pay much more for less flavor and fewer options.
I made my own mahi mahi sandwich. The food here is outstanding
