Im really annoyed. I order from you once a month and never have problems. I ordered the same meal i have for 3 years and when i asked for it to be corrected i was met with resistance. You eventually fixed it but after making me feel uncomfortable. I paid you, make my food how i ordered it and dont argue with me, it was a California roll, not a omakaze.... Its been 3 years, same order, same restaurant.
Excellent sushi with lots of menu options. I seem to always be the designated orderer when dining at KIWAMI. I always go for the crispy rice with spicy tuna, yellowtail sashimi with jalapeno, seared albacore with crispy onions and the baked crab handroll to finish. Reserving a table always seems to be ordeal and the service is always good but I often feel rushed as I think they want to to turn the table.
Service in this place gets 1 star. I try to be honest and unbiased on all my reviews, and the food is very delicious here so overall I bumped my rating an extra star for the food quality. But Patrick is a jerk. He has bad energy. I didn’t eat comfortably. Someone recommended I sit next to his section, so I did so but never will I return again. Patrick was very rude and embarrassed me and my fiancé. He just gave us angry looks, not sure what about us bothered him. He gave us a big lecture about how we are supposed to know the names of fish when ordering sushi. I don’t eat sushi often so I needed some help ordering. But Patrick was very unfriendly. He was bickering at us the whole time than gave us a lecture. Very uncomfortable. But apparently he liked the person next to us more. He was comparing us to this stranger saying how he knows what he was ordering and how great he was. But basically wasn’t happy serving us and made me very uncomfortable. Patrick, if this review ever gets to you… you’re sushi is great, you’re a great cook. But don’t get cocky and be rude to people. Lets all be nice to each other and hopefully you never do this to anyone else. At least I know you wont do it to me, as I will never return here. There’s other amazing sushi spots elsewhere.
It was just okay foodwise... not great and the presentation was uneventful. I always want to be wowed at an expensive sushi bar. Service was great!
Took myself out for a lovely meal here. This spot focuses on chirashi sushi rather than standard nigiri. Staff was attentive to Covid precautions and the space felt safely arranged. Fish was fresh. Really enjoyed.

Kiwami means the best. And this place really is. I love the sushi at Katsu-Ya anyway but this really is incredible. Super fresh!
