I was craving for some Vietnamese food and this truck did not disappoint! My husband got the chicken meatball rice bowl and vegan egg rolls while I got the vegan tofu curry. The egg rolls were crispy, fresh, and delicious. I normally am not into egg rolls but l can tell you my husband did not manage to even get a bite before I inhaled them. We ended up placing a second order for more egg rolls.The chicken meatballs were juicy and flavorful. I never see this anywhere so now I have to come back when I'm craving for more. We really enjoyed the tofu curry as well. The portions were generous and I was stuffed afterwards. The prices are definitely reasonable for what you get.
The dishes here are so creative and delicious that I can't find in any vietnamese restaurants. They combined Vietnamese and Western cuisine to create many dishes that satisfy all people. I love the braised pork belly, it's chewy, juicy, and craving.9/10
TEN stars if I could. Where to start? One of the best in LA. Hired these guys for personal and corporate events and they ALWAYS impress. Food served hot and fast. Generous portions. Crispy delicious spring rolls. Had been a while so decided to re-try the brisket, chicken, AND pork belly. I won't tell you my favorite as that would impossible - in the mood for chicken? Get the chicken. Pork? Same thing. And the crew is always happy. Give them a try NOW
I’m a huge fan and have been following this truck for years now. Jen and the crew make crazy delicious food! I get cravings for their ban mi and Thai iced tea and just have to go. I’ve tried everything on the menu but those are my go-to. Excited to see what they do next!!
Had the pleasure of having Cafe Vietnam Food Truck featured in our Print shoot. We needed a last minute food truck and Cafe Vietnam came to the rescue. Everyone was super nice and also make the best iced coffee I’ve ever had for our Print crew.
The owner is the sweetest and their egg rolls will have you dreaming about egg rolls forever! My team and I used to frequent their truck in Studio City and everything was delicious. Thank you!
DELICIOUS! They use fresh ingredients and the combination of flavors was mouthwatering. Staff was very friendly and courteous. I received quality service. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for an authentic bite to eat.
SOOOOO GOOOOOOD!Was able to grab food from this truck on set and wanted to take the time to write a quick review -- I was really impressed!Had the lemongrass chicken and Vietnamese coffee. Both were delish, and the strong coffee was a great compliment with the savory chicken. So much flavor. Reminded me of when I was back in Vietnam. LOVED IT.Extra bonus points for the super nice staff. He explained that they've been having trouble getting good bread durning the pandemic -- tasted great to me! Can't wait to try again next time. Keep punchin' and props for staying open during these tough times --
Hotdog rolls instead of baguette, no mayo, chilli, pate, soggy - you call this banh mi - should be ashamed.Edited - glad to see owner reply and care.To respond sorry to hear about bread situation but you can't fault me there, hot dog roll does not bode well.Ive spent over a year of life from Phu Quoc, HCM, Mui Ne, Hoi An and your home town etc. I can assure you that while some have chilli paste, some have pate, some have their own special sauce like Hoi An, or fish sauce etc, many do have mayonnaise as an option.Second there was hardly any pickled carrot or daikon or chili's.Anyway ill put it down to an off night without French style baguettes and look forward to trying again.
