This cafe has changed so much. It used to be a cool spot but now it's turned into a McDonald's style system of digital ordering with no human interaction. I really feel for the staff as they seem to be overwhelmed with all the online orders and are jam packed with constant orders.
We order through postmate and it came on time but unfortunately the avocado toast was all black and tasted bad!!!
The young man who took our order today was both inattentive and got both coffee orders wrong. I mostly went to try the Milo, a drink with malt. There was so little malt in it, I'd call it a "suggestion of malt" rather than a real malted milk taste. Not going back. Disappointing all around.
Staff was unenthused and dismissive. Coffee was great. Not a fan of the computer system to order as it removes the sought-after human interaction in a coffeeshop.

And if you happen to complain about waiting an extra 20-25 minutes the 18-20 years old young ladies who work there won’t even apologise but give you the most arrogant “there is nothing we can do about it. Here’s your food you’re good to go” ? ? . Staff is not compatible with this friendly neighbourhood of Studio City. The Store Manager’s (Chelsea) lack of social skills is reflected on the entire team. This place needs a complete makeover.

Poor customer experience. Customers should be greeted when entering the cafe, instead I was ignored and had no idea how to order until I noticed the kiosks. First and last time at Bluestone for me.
TBH this is hands down the best cafe I’ve been to, in all my life & travels. The staff is always hustling when I visit, I don’t know how they handle all the online orders that zoom in there on top of their in store clientele but they actually prepare everything from scratch and the quality never disappoints. Chelsea & Allison are magicians with the coffee, I’ve never had such a perfectly balanced, smooth latte! ( with house made vanilla syrup made from Madagascar vanilla beans?! What?!!) Hector has an artesian touch with the toast dishes, pre-slicing the toast before adding the Avo-mash with carefully placed bacon and secret spices?! What?!! So insanely good!! To those who left a negative review about this place, why don’t you go to St*rbucks where you belong! This is high end baby!
Despite adequate staff, Food here takes 30 - 35 minutes from order to hand. No personal contact. Store is dirty. Must order from kiosk or online and prepay (takes time and requires personal data). Coffee is good takes 10-15 minutes. Long wait for a latte.Wait time and store appearance have continued to decline. I’ve come back each time hoping it has gotten better. Great food good coffee.Is this a coffee shop or a cafe? Wait times are longer than a sit down cafe. But there are tiny tables in a tiny space and it appears to be a coffee shop.Kiosks for “efficiency” there is no efficiency here. If for contactless delivery why have 3 kiosks jammed in less than a foot from each other?One employee standing on the outside of the bar to pack orders half of the time immobile. Is there not enough space behind the bar to take orders or help get coffee or food off the line?Customer ques do not align with the business model.Consistently Poor Experience
To the ownership: please hire professional cleaners. Every time I go in, the dirty white tiles on the back wall gross me out (not the hourly employees responsibility). But then today I was absolutely horrified when I looked up and noticed it looked like your hanging vines were dying, but then realized they were fake and covered in a layer of dust about half an inch thick. Do you even change your air filters? Shocked to see you have an A rating. It is beyond filthy.
