I ordered bay bridge sushi, it's really yummie like what it looks, and the asparagus stick is crunchy. 3 items dinner for 15.99 but all from chicken. If orders with beef 18.99. The sevice is quite fast, the restaurant is not that big. It will be my go to for japanese foods.Parking: Limited a little bit
06/27/2022: First visit here. This is a small Japanese restaurant but it is big on fresh fish. I had the chirashi bowl. It came with a beautiful assortment of fish - ahi, hamachi, red snapper, salmon, albacore tuna, and escolar - with seaweed salad and shredded daikon radish atop a bed of rice. My mother had the salmon shioyaki with salad, edamame, and rice. Both dishes were beautifully presented and satisfied our hunger. I also had the Special Columbia roll - deep fried shrimp, asparagus, and spicy salmon inside, topped with assorted fresh fish, sauces, and tobiko. The roll had about 10 pieces. It was a little too spicy for my palate, so I took it home to hubby.Service here is good. The servers help with all the tables, and they are busy with serving food, bussing tables, and fulfilling takeout orders. Overall, they were attentive to refilling drinks and checking in with customers. If you've never been, give this place a try.
A great, friendly place. They greeted us and sat us quickly (with a party of 5) and the service was amazing. The food was delicious with good portions and tasted so fresh. We ordered the island, lobster, and Volcano roll, and my 6 year old got the toyo roll. So refreshing, light, and tasty. My boys got bento boxes and they even come with some sushi on the side..We will definitely be going back.
My wife and I stopped by there for a quick bite. I ordered the little dragon roll which has eel. They brought it out much faster than expected. I noticed the texture of the eel and rice were both soggy. I immediately thought it was yesterday's food. The staff must have noticed my dislike and asked if everything was okay. I anwsered honestly and told them the truth. They confirmed my suspicion and said they didn't have time to cook the eel. They would make me a frsh one. The next one tasted exactly the same. Won't be going there again. Complete let down! My conclusion was laziness.
Higher quality sushi than any other place in Stockton. And bigger portion sizes. And WAY better service. And more reasonable prices. Since the first time I ate here, I only go here for sushi in Stockton.
The lobster roll and Hawaii roll are delicious. The lobster meat is small and on top of the roll. Enjoyed the shrimp tempura inside, the veg, the sauce of the lobster roll. The Hawaii roll is much cheaper than the lobster roll. It has multiple types of fish inside.
The service is not to good, the sushi rolls weren't rolled as tight as they usually are but still Delicious !!
My friend and I grabbed lunch here. She got chicken katsu, I got a specialty roll and a hand roll, and we split a tempura order, and the price point is fabulous. The flavors were great, portions fantastic, wait time was ideal, and the friendliness/helpfulness of the staff was top notch. Definitely will be back.
I don't normally leave reviews, much less 5 star but my god.The food was absolutely amazing, the atmosphere was great, the staff was really nice and welcoming, it was truly fantastic.Definitely going to become regulars.
Great flavors, huge sushi portions. Camellia is my favorite!
