For the prices I was expecting a higher quality in the food and more generous portions. I ordered a Moussaka casserole but I did not like it, it was flavorless and the asparagus were dry and not very well seasoned.A couple of highlights on this place are the ambiance, nice cocktail menu, and the amazing most delicious complimentary pita bread.I was disappointed about the food, but the pita bread and the baklava cheesecake saved the day. I would definitely not come back here.
Its a hit and miss. The first experience we had was like 3.months ago is was excellent. The staff was very attentive and we have our own room cause there we 7 of us. This time around we made a reservation 7 people but they put us in this corner. It was a little crowed for us. It took them awhile to serve us cause its like they don't see us. But the food over all is excellent. My only suggestion is they have a big crowd if they can put them in a comfortable spot. But overall I still love this place and recommend.
I have wanted to try this place for a while now. Im glad i finally did. I was very surprised at the number of salads available. Plenty of options from steak to gyros to salads. They have a good menu selection. I had one of the chicken salads and was very full when done. Price is about what a place like this should be. Great atmosphere and open layout helps make it less crowded. Ala and all, I will probably return for a second try.
Great place to eat and enjoy company
My hubby brought me to Papapavlo's for my birthday and I was impressed. Never been there but always said one day. I loved the pesto hummus and warm pita bread! There was live music at the start of our dinner and that was a treat. My husband and I both ordered the Porterhouse with sauteed mushrooms accompanied by garlic red mash and veggies, our son ordered the Seafood Pasta and veggies. I love a good Greek salad and the men had the Caesar. I was so pleased with my meal. Anytime you have a good steak that melts like butter, its a good meal. Thank you to our servers for a great experience. We will be back!
the service is great. the lobster was great. I felt it was great. His drinks were served really great.
Very nice night out with mom. Flaming cheese appetizer (table side flaming show) main course cooked perfectly. Not over season or salty like some chain restaurants. Was very pleased. They even had a live singer for the evening. Did patio seating since I'm hard of hearing and the music was a bit much for me. 5 stars for exceptional service and courterious staff.
My First Visit and Not my last! Great and Enjoyable Atmosphere. Enjoyed my Dinner and so did My Hubby! We will be back!
I like this place. Food was really good. The service was good. We had the lamb skewers with rice. Food was cooked at the right temperature. We were in town to run errands, and it was a good place to take a break and eat.
Attended hosted birthday celebration. Choice of sole or gyros. Both were good, served with vegetables, rice, green salad, and flat bread. Service was a a bit spotty, several tables had all but 1-2 patrons served before those last diners' meals delivered after all the other tables were served and others at their table finished eating. Had to request additional bread, butter. Seemed to be very short staffed compared to previous visits. Manager came in and physically helped serve! Food was very good.
