Really good food excellent service ?
Amazing food and margaritas. Service was extremely good
The steak fajitas were delicious and plentiful. My friend enjoyed his quesadilla. Our wives weren't impressed by their choices of taco salad and carne asada. The atmosphere is noisy but not annoying. And the homemade tortillas are bigger than an LP record while delicious.
I hadn't been here in a while, so I was happy to meet a friend for lunch here. I had the taco salad with birria, and it was as delicious as I remember. The homemade flour tortillas are still my absolute favorite! Our server was welcoming and friendly. She was attentive to our needs and quick to tell our drinks.Overall, this was a great visit. I can't wait to go back!
My friends son's birthday dinner. It was very busy. I told the hostess , please seat us somewhere it isn't loud. Our table was right at the Mariachi band. We thought they would go away. They did, to the table right next to us. They might have been ok, if they were 100 yards or more away. But, right there..... HORRENDOUS!! It was so very loud , the horns pierced our eardrums. To the point, I put pieces on napkins in my ears as earplugs. Nothing helped. They did not stop. We couldn't speak to each other. Couldn't even concentrate on the menu. We told the waitress if we could be moved? Or they could stop. Nothing. We ended up walking out. It was horrible. I won't go back
Sat right away. Ordered not long after getting drinks. Food however did take about 30 mins to start coming out. The burger one of us ordered, had the bottom bun burnt and the bun is bigger than the insides of the burger. Forgot to take pic of the rest of the burger... Green enchiladas were actually a bit spicy which was a nice surprise. There was a waiter that kept coming by to see if we needed anything, during our whole visit. In general, the food was good and the staff was attentive. Might not return to this location though because of long wait time for food to be served and it is quite noisy unlike the other location on B St. It's noisy mostly because of the people at the bar area but also one hostess who would sit customers arriving. She would literally yell out to them or if someone was picking up an order, she would yell to them, asking why they were waiting.
It was my first time and what I had was good.. I had the one item enchilada with beans and rice with homemade flour tortillas. The service was very nice and polite with fast service with food too.
So we decided to go to Nena's on Easter Sunday I knew that it would be a bit of a wait which I was fine with. What I wasn't fine with was the way we were treated and not told that they ran out of rice until they gave us our plates of food and never came back to check up on our table we literally had to beg for our check. Kids were crying I almost fell because of the kids running around just a mess I won't be going back.
Arrived and put my name on list for waiting. Me and my family sat right outside of the door and confirmed how many people were on the list ahead of me. The hostess said 10. My family and me counted as others were seated and severed. Even as other groups arrived and seated after we have been waiting. After noticing this behavior I again go and ask how many names ahead of me. Me and my family counted 13 other families seated and served while we were waiting. The hostess said 4 more still ahead of us. After this 6 more families seated. Finally I had my wife who is Hispanic ask and magically they had a seat ready for us. I guess being a lighter complexion puts you behind everyone else. After being seated it took another 25 min to even get our drink order. Avoid this place due to customer service
We absolutely loved it. Our 1st time. Food was delicious, the homemade tortillas are amazing. Definitely will be back
